I had a lie-in this morning not able to sleep, what with Grumpy coughing, tv on, kettle boiling, cat coming in

Off to Ourique later as Grumpy has his second jab I'll take my cossie back and exchange it for a larger size

Not sure what we're doing this afternoon. We'd normally meet friends down at the bar, but one lot has a friend over from England and the other lot has family over, also from England. We might pop down, might not.

BBQ here too, so will get the prep sorted this morning, as much as I can, anyway.

Just been to our meeting, I got my half stone award, as I've lost 7lbs since we started back It's a beautiful early summer day here, we're having brunch sitting outside Corretto's - the food market is on, but it's not too busy yet Off to D's afterwards.

Morning all, it’s dull and chilly here, typical bank holiday weekend weather My main plan today is to give the inside of the car a good brushing and vacuuming. Then tomorrow we’ll go over to Miss Osc’s house to use their hose to wash it. No other plan for the day. Miss Osc and family are heading off to Wicklow for the weekend. Hope Crommers and co have a lovely holiday.

Morning all, it’s another hot and sunny one.

We walked Bill early with a few water stops for him. I always take his bottle of water, it’s one of those with an attached cover which turns into a kind of bowl, and when he wants a drink he comes and taps the bottle with his nose
We’ve sat in the shade on the patio with our coffees since getting back. John’s now cutting the grass on the side garden.

I think he’s going for a bike ride this afternoon, he wants to scope out a good vantage point for Rugeley Power Station as the cooling towers are being demolished tomorrow morning. It’ll be very strange with those gone. We can’t see them from here (although we could always see the steam cloud when it was in operation) but they’ve always dominated Rugeley and can be seen from many places on the Chase.

Just the three of us this weekend. Tom’s away at Shannon’s and Joe’s at Amanda’s. Both will be back tomorrow evening.

Bit dull all morning, but looks to be brightening up now.

We slept in even longer than usual, woke up feeling very heavy headed. E's going out for a walk later, I'd like to join him, but by ankle is always a bit sore after washing day. Think I'll just potter a bit and then relax with my kindle.
