Afternoon all :D

Lovely bright and sunny here 8-)

Hope you get a nap this afternoon Cruiser.
Oh dear Ally, that's a hard lesson to learn.
Glad you had a lovely day Saundra.

We had a lovely time with the boys yesterday. They arrived quite early and after helping E get the umbrellas up went off for a walk along the beach. No surprise a visit to Sorbetto's was a must ;) They got back here around 12.30 for lunch. I did a buffet so not too much cooking, but it's a long time since I fed a hoard of locusts so I was pretty cream crackered by the time it was all ready. They left sometime after 5pm and by the time I'd cleared up and sat down on the sofa I dozed off

Just been on the phone to AO. We ordered a new toaster due for delivery today. No one knocked the door, but when I went out to collect the bins I found the parcel had been thrown over the side fence. Apparently the DPD driver delivered it 'safely'!!! Anyway when we unpacked it we found one side completely caved in. AO have been very good and will collect it tomorrow and arrange a refund. They did offer a replacement, but although we usually like Bosch products this one feels a bit flimsy.

Taking it easy today, expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later. In the meantime the garden beckons.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Jen had Pfizer too - she's 32. Had no side effects so that's reassuring 8-) I met her for a coffee and a spot of lunch yesterday at the garden centre near where she works, she'd just finished her shift so it was fab to catch up, not seen her in aaages! I swapped my days in work so was off yesterday, downside is I'm working tomorrow

I hope everyone is enjoying the good weather - it's tad cloudier today but still warm enough 8-) So nice!! 8-) I went for the groceries this morning, got lots of fresh fruit, and avoided the choccie aisle - I WILL get some weight off!!

Ally how annoying - kids these days never seem to see ahead....lesson learned for them hopefully but frustrating for you!
