Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 31 May 2021, 05:41

Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

I'm back from a quick run. If I get out and back before 8am I dodge the ever increasing heat.

Happily pootling, swim, read and paint my nails.

A neighbour brought round 12 massive eggs last night so I'm going to make a traditional Spanish omelette this morning. We can have it for dinner with salad. :D

Part 5 of The Pact tonight. :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Grey. Almost white sky

Done all the watering, Grumpy has cleaned off and put primer on top of the pool wall, then he can paint it tomorrow, before it gets too hot again, so we can put the screening up, to stop nosy neighbours watching us :cute:

Washing out, we'll be moving bedrooms later. The one we're in gets sun on to walls this time of year, so warms up. The other one is much cooler.

And that's about it for the day now. Still trying to finish off the loaf Jackie made us - it's massive

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally, that sounds delicious :D xx

Happy gardening Cruiser :) xx

You sound busy Jan :) xx

It's sunny here, but it still needs to warm up a bit! We're out having brunch, Becky is working. Home soon to peg out the washing (me) and level out the patio paving slabs (Mick), as they're somehow looking a bit wonky :? :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all.
The sun is trying to get out here.
We are going to look at dining tables this morning.
At 10.30am our son is flying down to Newquay to join up with his gf on holiday - she said it took them 7 hours to get from Droitwich (where she and her parents had stayed overnight) to Cornwall last Saturday. :o
Right, atm first and then off we go on pleasure bent.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Gosh you have been busy Jan, don't overdo it x
Our driveway needs a good jet wash Saundra, I didn't get it done last summer, but really must do it soon.

It's operation house day for us today. Since E's op went wrong last summer things have slipped a bit. I've had to spread the cleaning over a few days so it's never had a really good going over. E's doing so well, he obviously isn't doing any bending or lifting yet, but we're finally back to some kind of normal, me tidying and flitting round with a duster and him following with the Dyson. We'll do that before lunch and later this afternoon, after Tesco's have been, I'll get the steam cleaner out.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Don't knock yourself out Jen overdoing it.
Saundra, we've bought a table from Brand interiors, they sell Marks and Spencers seconds. We thought it was pointless buying a really nice table when we use it for Eliza to do cutting and sticking and colouring in pictures. So we got a table for £449, reduced from £900.
It is a good day for the lady running the store, the customers in front of us bought more than £4,000 worth of furniture! :Hi:

Afternoon all, lovely and sunny here but there’s a bit of a nippy breeze. I sat out in the sun for about 45 minutes. I defuzzed my legs, and made a batch of soup. Shortly I’ll be doing some ironing, it has to be faced
