Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 28 May 2021, 06:10

Good morning.

Sunny and hot.

I've had my walk and now enjoying a coffee.

I've got the hairdresser's at 11.30. Feeling a bit nervous as I'm going to get my hair cut really short.

My private class at 4.30 then meeting Don at 6.30 when I finish for Friday beers and tapas. Conor will be with him as he's coming over for the weekend. :cute:

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Grey skies but no rain. Have walked for the paper. Will be going to town later to take some things to one of the charity shops and some shopping.

Then may do some more gardening this afternoon.

have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Sunny, cool still but the heat will ramp up later 8-)

No internet first thing, so I've done the watering, then tried to ring meo. Got through and lo - my internet came back on :cute:

Jackie is making me a loaf this morning, to show how the bread is in her bread maker, before I get one :Hi: so I'll pop down later and pick it up.

Cleaning morning for me, no idea what Grumpy will be doing.

Just have to wait for news about Molly.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s quite warm and bright here.

Bill’s had his walk and now I’m tatting around while waiting for the Tesco delivery. Joe’s home today, he’d booked the day off so that he could have a four day weekend. I think he’s going to see Amanda later this morning though.

That’s about it, apart from another walk at lunchtime (and another tonight), the usual housework and I might give the borders a dig over in the back garden as I plan on getting some bedding plants this weekend.

Al, how short??

Have a good day all :)

Morning everyone, happy Friday!

Ally, please take some before and after photo's..... you suit your hair short so looking forward to seeing it
Cruiser, similar sky here - a pale grey; the sun is trying to get through but according to the forecast it'll be overcast most of the day but dry and warm - nice !!! :D I'll be joining you in the gardening bit later on ;-)
Jan, hope you like the bread - I had a breadmaker but it was so darn loud. I was hoping to set it to come on on a Saturday morning so I'd wake up to fresh bread but the moment it started up the cats and I got such a fright, they bolted from the bedroom / house and I was upright and wide awake - none of us ever got back to sleep   - I gave it way to another friend.
Jo, hope the delivery turns up on time, enjoy the walks and the pootling in the garden

We have the day off today. It's a holiday in the US and in the UK on Monday so management sent an email on Tuesday saying to please try take the day off if you can, well I can so I am :D I have one 9.30am call to be on standby for in case there are problems with it starting and I'll obviously check emails every once in a while but that's it. So a lovely 4 day weekend for me to get loads done at home in the garden and at the allotment. Grocery shopping this morning then to the garden centre for compost

have a lovely day all - enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Good morning all, it’s wet and dreary here :( but forecast to be a nice weekend - it’s not a bank holiday here. I’m going to a friend’s house for a cuppa around 11am, then having a pedicure at 2pm. Dinner from the pub next door.

Last June we booked a holiday for this July, more in hope than expectation really. Well - we will miss it by a week, as our government will be allowing international travel from 19th July and we were booked to go on the 13th   Oh well, nothing we can do about it, we had only paid a deposit and the company had said they wouldn’t ask for the balance until they had more info, so we can transfer the deposit to something later in the year - no doubt we will hear from them in the next few days.

Afternoon all :D

Bright sunny and a lot warmer here 8-)

Jan hope you get more news about Molly xx

These Fridays come round too fast, got the washing on the go, the bed's stripped, still got to make it though  E's going for another walk round the roads again, it's really a perfect day for the cliff top, but that will have to wait till tomorrow, too much for me to do here.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon all.
Not a bad day here, cloudy but quite warm and just a brief shower earlier.
We have been to do the Sainsbury's shop and paid for our holiday in July - ouch.
Now off to buy a lottery ticket and later I will make some Tomato sauce and maybe a loaf.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :)

Al, your hair will look great!. :D As Ria said, you suit it short :D xx

Hope you got your gardening done Cruiser, it's rained here this afternoon  xx

Jan, I do hope you get good news about Molly xxx

Jo we often get similar weather, but not today  I hope Joe enjoys his long weekend :) xx

Ria, I had to chuckle at the bread maker story - a bread maker cum alarm clock might be a winning invention :P ;) xx

Osc, that's a shame :( xxx

Hi Saundra :) xxx

Hope you got all your jobs done Jen, and that E enjoyed his walk xxx

Ooh Crommers, where are you off to? :D xxx

It started out grey and warm here, but started raining at lunchtime and it's been on and off ever since! I went into town to get some bits for Poppy's birthday - she's three in early June (hard to believe  ) and as J and J are up from Weymouth this weekend I wanted to get her presents and card sorted, so they can take them back for us :D I ordered her an Early Learning dinosaur playset from Amazon - she's mad on dinosaurs, the set has a big mat all marked out with various swamps and volcanoes, some dinosaurs and various trees and other accessories :D Becky had something similar from EL when she was little, I just hope that Poppy gets as much fun out of it  B has got her a Peppa Pig Beanie Baby, and I might get her some sweeties to pop in the present bag as well 8-)

We have our second jabs tomorrow, 11.50 at the same venue as last time - Malvern Showground. Can you believe that despite Malvern contacting us a couple of weeks back, changing the appointments from Sunday to tomorrow as they aren't operating on Sundays any more, we have still been sent a text today confirming our Sunday appointments :? :cute: Mick has checked, it's definitely tomorrow, but honestly!! :x  :cute:

SW in the morning, first thing! Wish me luck, it's been my first week really back on track so I'm hoping to have done well :?

Love to all :) xxx
