Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 26 May 2021, 05:42

Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

David's picking me up at 10 and we're going for a coastal walk again. Looking to walk between 20-24kms according to wikiloc. :P

A nice cold beer and a bite to eat back in our town when we finish.

Don's meeting an old school friend from St Philip's today that he hasn't seen since 1978!
They've arranged to meet at noon in Malaga. :cute:

Don's been on a footy forum for years with a group of old school chums and Joe joined about 6 months ago. Once they got chatting properly it was discovered Joe lived in Velez Malaga which is not too far from here! Small world.

He'll be back to watch the Europa League final tonight and I'll be watching my beloved Sewing Bee.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Gorgeous sunrise and although it's chilly at the moment, it will soon warm up. That's one good thing about living her, cool nights. Means you can sleep better 8-)

Molly still not right, so we're off to the vet later. We had planned on going to Bicos, to pick up some cushions for the outside chairs this morning, but I think we can still go. Do the lovely Pingo on the way back and then we'll play it by ear, with the vet.

Enjoy your yompette Ally :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, it’s a lovely day here. Two of our dancing friends are coming to Howth today to meet up, go for a walk and have a good catch up, looking forward to it. In the meantime, I want to make a batch of soup and clean our bathroom.

Vibes and cuddles for Molly.

Good morning all.
A foul morning again here. Grey, cold and raining. This is the back end of May and it's more like November!
Ally, a small world indeed. Jan, poor Molly. Saundra, that did make me laugh! Osc enjoy the meet up with your friends.
We have been to get the paper, some eggs from the farm and our prescriptions. I can't see us doing too much more than that today.
Have a good day everyone.

Nice and bright here, hope it continues.

Enjoy your coastal walk Ally.
Good luck at the vet Jan, hope it's nothing serious and Molly is soon back to normal health.
Hope your Iceland delivery isn't too late Saundra.

Nothing much happening today, need to update my Sainsbury's order due tomorrow and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Phew, what a morning

All of a sudden, it's got stinking hot and the vet was later  And she has a crisis, so we left Molly there, she shot off and we went to Bicos to collect the cushions. Picked up three books too

Back to the vet, checked Molly over, temperature etc normal, but there could be something going on inside. Could have told her that  She's not eaten since Sunday, hardly had any water and spent most of the time either on the bed or a chair.

So she's gone off to Beja puss-cat hospital for a load of tests, bloods etc and the vet will ring me either today or tomorrow. And thank you for your best wishes xx

Got Pingo out of the way and I'm now going to spend the afternoon cooking. I forgot that we're having Steve and Jackie around tomorrow, for a bbq and I need to crack on with the food.

Hope your delivery gets to you Saundra x

Afternoon all

So far it hasn’t rained today, which is a good thing seeing as there’s loads of washing to dry.

Bill’s had two long walks. Things are definitely getting back to normal, in a total of nearly 3 hours of walking we only saw one other person (and two dogs).

Hope the delivery isn’t too late Saundra x

Fingers crossed for good news about Molly, Jan x

Have a good day all :)

afternoon all

Jan, that's a worry about poor Molly - fingers crossed the tests shed some light on what might be wrong; poor poppet
Saundra, hope your delivery has turned up by now

Well I cannot believe that it's coming up for 3pm and we haven't had a drop of rain yet; and I don't think any expected :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: It's been on an off overcast but for now I'll take that. Yes we always need rain but not in the amounts we've had the past week and a bit or more.

Laptop and I are about to head over to Nadine - she needs a hand filling in some school forms for Amelia and it's just easier if one of us types (ie me) and the other gathers the required information (ie Nadine) :D

Ally, what a small world that is

Have a lovely day all, and enjoy all the bits and bobs you're up to xx
