Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 19 May 2021, 05:02

Good morning.

Yesterday ran away from me so much I forgot to pop in here! :o

Temps in the 30s every day now and will just continue to rise. 8-)

An early swim then we're off to Miramar shopping emporium. I love it there as it has Bershka, C&A, H&M and loads of other great shops.

I'm looking for a jumpsuit. :D There's a Zoflora ad on TV at the moment where a girl wafts about  and she's wearing a gorgeous green jumpsuit and white pumps. Ooooh me thinks. I want one of those.

Then on to Iceland & Tesco.

Then on to Worten for a new MP3. I swear they don't make them as hardy as they used to.

Chinese takeaway tonight with GB Menu and GB Sewing Bee. :cute: :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

Al, can just see you wafting about in your new jumpsuit ;) :D xxx

Good luck at the dentist's Jan :) xxx

Have a good day Cruiser :) xxx

The sun's out here! :Hi: I'm meeting my friend Jenny in town for a cuppa, not seen her since before Christmas, so that will be nice :) I might see D later, but her special exercise classes have started up again, three times a week, so it will be later this afternoon if at all. I'm so pleased for her, the classes really help her breathing and flexibility, and she's missed them badly 8-) Zumba tonight, on Zoom this time ;)

Take care everyone :) xxx

Change of plan again

I've felt a few twinges, just walking around and getting up out of chairs, so I'm having a day off.

If I don't hear from the hospital soon, I'll ask the doctor to contact them. I am more than fed up :cute:

Morning all, it’s sunny and breezy at the moment. I think yet more showers are forecast for later though.

Bill’s had his first walk, I’ll take him again before lunch before it rains again. I changed the beds so the bedding is drying on the line. I’ll have a hoover around later.

Can’t tell you how much I enjoyed going to the football yesterday. We got back last night and after an hour or so John said he was going to make an observation, he said that I seemed so much brighter in myself...and I did, that was how I felt. I done something normal, something that I love but which I’ve not been able to do since March last year, something that didn’t involve either walking or shopping for food

Saundra, I had a time last year when I couldn’t be bothered to read. What are you going to treat yourself to?

Have a good day all :D

Great excitement :Hi: :Hi:

Just had three rather nice policemen walking up our drive

Prats next door didn't turn up for their vaccines, so the GNR were dispatched

As normal, he wouldn't open the gates, as he can see the gates from the house and probably thought I'd sent them round again  So they strolled up our drive and asked if I had a phone number for him or any way of contacting him. They shouted across, but were ignored. As the police were going down the drive - out they popped  So I shouted across to Lesley what it was about, and prat went down to the gates.

Their problem is that even after 5 years, they don't understand enough Portuguese, so probably couldn't understand the phone call from the Centro de Saude

Obviously, Portugal is making sure everyone is vaccinated :Hi:

Morning all, it’s a nice day here, sun and cloud. I had a bad night’s sleep so feeling a bit sluggish. I have washing in the machine, but it went in late so might not be finished in time for it to be worth hanging it out. No plan for the day but I’m sure I’ll think of something. This day last year I started my radiotherapy treatment, that year went quickly and yet slowly if you know what I mean :?

Saundra and Jo, I went off reading during the first lockdown last year, but thankfully got back in to it later that summer, I found it hard to think I would ever not want to read. Our libraries have just reopened so I’m looking forward to going into the local one for a browse. Jo, Edward and I were thinking about you when the match was on last night, we were over in Miss Osc’s and he and Michael watched it together.
