Good morning Friday.

Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

Off for a walk, back for a swim then get ready and it's off to the ceramic warehouse. I want to have the utility room re-tiled and looking to get a new washing machine too. I'm sure there'll be other purchases whilst there.

When I get back I'll go online and book myself my vaccination at our centro salude. Yesterday 57 - 59 year olds were invited to do so. :cute: :cute:

Two classes 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for Friday beers and tapas. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Foggy  Supposed to be sunny and hot, but I suppose it will be, once the fog has lifted

Wafting the feather duster around this morning and sorting out yesterdays purchases. Why do they put the most enormous labels on everything  :cute:

Other than that, not sure what will be happening.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny although still quite cold.

Bill’s just had his walk, the washing’s in the machine and I’m waiting for the Tesco delivery.

Today’s the day for Joe’s big surprise! Amanda’s getting on the train in Falmouth in a few minutes and she’ll be at the station in town just before 4pm where Joe will be waiting on the car park, thinking that he’s picking me up
I’ve got to be out of the house by 1.15pm which is when he’ll be home from work so that he thinks I’ve gone into Birmingham, John being off work has sort of complicated things because there’s no reason why he wouldn’t pick me up so he’s concocted a story about meeting a friend for a bike ride this afternoon so he’s going to disappear out at some point and come to meet me.
Fingers crossed it all works out! Amanda’s only got to change trains in Truro and Birmingham so that should hopefully make the journey less problematic.

Have a good day all :D

Morning you three, morning everyone

Jo, that's going to be such a fabulous surprise - hope you have the camera ready!
Ally hope you get everything you want and good luck with the appointment!
Jan, hope the weather clears. Enjoy the purchases

Well another mixture of work / family for me today. Vet appointment at 10.45 and then early school pick up for Amelia at 12h40 and work inbetween.
Weatherwise - a lovely sunny morning but expecting rain this afternoon. But at least it seems we've cracked those cold temperatures and are (hopefully) now onwards and upwards with them

Have a lovely day all x

How exciting Jo! I hope it works out splendidly.

Remember Don's birthday a few years ago and the surprise of Jacob appearing when Don thought he was in the UK.
The fun and excitement planning it and it going so wonderfully well is a lovely memory. :cute:

Good morning all.
Changeable weather here; sunny one minute and raining the next. I've been for my second jab this morning and whilst I was inside the tent on Morrison's car park there was a furious drumming on the canvas - hailstones!
We have ordered the carpet. Unfortunately MrsC was in a mad rush to get the old one up, which we have done. I did ask her what if there is a wait for the new carpet? But to no avail and lo and behold we are going to have to wait "for a few weeks".
That is a lovely surprise Jo! How romantic!
We have had two scam calls on the landline this morning and we are seriously considering getting rid of it now.
Have a good day all.

If you have an answering machine Crommers, then let all calls to go that before you answer. The computerised systems do eventually learn what numbers are answered by a human or by a machine which means those numbers aren't really sold on.

I have loads of scam calls on my mobile, but none on the landline as I'm usually not home to answer it

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

Happy tile buying Ally.
What a lovely surprise Jo, hope it all goes smoothly.
We had a spam call on the landline this morning too Crommers, this time supposedly from our broadband company to say there's been illegal action on our computer and to press 1 immediately the mind boggles

It's wash day here, not looking forward to remaking the bed, but needs must and all that. E will have to make do with a couple of walks round the close for another day.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely day here. I went for my regular Friday walk with my friends, we sat in the sun for ages and it was really quite warm in the sheltered place where we were sitting. Dinner is ordered from the pub next door, otherwise nothing planned for the rest of the day.

Jo, I hope all goes well with the surprise!
