Oh my goodness Crommers, that's a nasty shock! That poor lady - please give my condolences to Mrs C and lots for yourself too x

It's been largely sunny here today with some occasional hefty sleet showers now and again, depending where you were! You could see the black clouds and the showers coming out of them before they landed over you! Bizarre weather for May!

A later than usual start for me leaving the house as I had a hair appointment for 11.45. Not a great time, would have been better earlier or later but no matter, it's done now. After she'd finished (all over and back in the car by 12.25!) I went to Lidl and The Range and then SG for my latte and a rather wonderful Jaffa Cake Brownie (It's no wonder I am getting heavy!) then home to tidy round and gather stuff together for tomorrow, we can't check in until 4pm but since it's key access, we may try sooner. Forecast is very mixed but hopefully we'll manage a few dry days....I'm not sure if we have wifi in the bungalow so it will depend whether or not I can get online! I have a few books ready on my kindle and phone so I won't be bored!

Hugs for all - take care everyone x

Wow, what a day :Hi: :Hi:

Had a phone call from >Jan to say Mitch got through the op and is recovering well, so that was good.

Crommers, such a shoclk to you all, my condolences x

Did ikea and got what i wanted and only a couple of things I hadn't planned on, but good stuff anyway. Chris went to Leroy Merlin and Lucy and I did ikea, then it was off to a second hand shop that had a table and chairs Lucy wanted and I saw the most gorgeous chair in there. If we'd had room in the camper van, I'd have bought it, but I'm going to put an offer in and see.

Then lunch in a rather nice grill place, then off to C&A. Very disappointed, I'm not paying 35€ for a cossie and they didn't have a lot of other stuff, so off to Iceland and Casa. Sadly, no lilo but spent my usual fortune in Iceland.

On our way back,we got stuck with the men in lycra doing their tour of the Algarve, so that cost us an extra half hour.

Now home with a beer and sneezing
