Kaz, our forecast was for a dry morning, light rain from 1ish and getting heavier as the afternoon went on. It actually started around 7.30, so much for the dry morning!

We’ve got pale beige carpet throughout, it’s been down since we moved in ten years ago and cleans up beautifully. It’s done very well to cope with Bill running around

Saundra, enjoy your afternoon tea. I’ve just put a lasagne together and it’s in the oven so we’ll have that with salad and a garlic and rosemary flat bread.

Mmmm sounds lovely Jo - any spare??

Kaz I did similar regarding a hot drink and a scone earlier - it's quite nice sitting in the car with your reusable mug 8-)

Started out gorgeous first thing, and then it started to rain! Still raining hours later and the wind has got up - what a Bank Holiday!!  Tom is car-less - he took the kids out yesterday and broke down! Had to wait over THREE HOURS for the rescue truck....he was about 20 miles away just outside Middlesbrough so John went to collect the kids but T waited until the truck came to bring him and the car back to our local garage up the street. Hope it'll be sorted for our trip on Friday - or we'll have to use mine, which is do-able but mine is much smaller and not the comfiest ride.....ah well.....

Jen take care with your hip - lots of rest for you!

Saundra, enjoy that afternoon tea!!

Deb good to see you - was wondering how you're managing with all the jabs!!

And blowing a complete hooley as well. Chris Over The Road's recycling bin has blown over twice now and half the contents have disappeared down the road and into the country park. The first time, I went out, righted it for him, saved what I could, and cleared the mess off our front lawn where some of it had landed. The second time, Chris was last seen pounding away after an empty 2 litre milk flagon that was actually accelerating faster than he was .....
