Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 03 May 2021, 06:47

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but by heck, it's cold outside  Will slowly warm up and as long as the north wind stays away, will be a lovely day. Warming up by Wednesday, thank heaven. This has been a long and cold winter/spring.

Grumpy off doing the srimming he didn't do yesterday soon. He wanted to give his knees and back a rest, so did some weeding, Had three very happy donkeys :D

I'll do the washing and make a stew out of that lump of pork

Will pop the netflix stuff down to Steve later and have a coffee too.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.
Grey here too Cruiser, and not very warm. You are good to the donkeys Jan.
We are looking at having a new sitting room carpet. MrsC fancies a kind of speckled grey.
A trip to the tip beckons, apart from that not too much.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s chilly here and starting to rain.

We walked Bill and now John’s gone for a run before the rain gets any worse which it’s forecast to. Joe’s in work today. Might pop to IKEA tonight.

Right, off to do the ironing.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s a dreary wet day here and not supposed to improve till late afternoon. Bits and pieces to do, and the snooker to watch later on.

Good morning again.

I am considering having new kitchen units. Like Cromwell, I am going for grey. Have been told it is the in colour.
Mrs.e and I talked about this last year as the edges of some doors are not good and laminate at one of the joints on the worktop is coming apart.

Got a reasonable estimate which I think I will accept. But they cannot fit it before September.
Just shows there is a lot of work being done.
Willbring a photo of the proposed new kitchen if we meet in Brum.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, think rain's forecast for this afternoon.

Silly me, I overdid it in the garden yesterday and my hip's sore again. Doing absolutely nothing strenuous today, E will do his walks around the close weather permitting and fingers crossed I'll be able to take him over to the clifftop tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all. I am still here - I haven't gone AWOL again. Life is just really busy at the moment, mainly at work. Fortunately we have pretty much finished our vaccine clinics now (we aren't doing the under 50's - they have to go to a hub) and so hopefully I might have a little more time on my hands. Although I start on the QOF work (things that we have to do to get our funding) next week although I can do that at my own pace and set the hours that I want to do.

It is miserable here today. But it was forecast so it's not a surprise. I've had my soaking taking Millie for a walk and now I'm going to catch up on some tv. Mick is working so I have the house all to myself - until Lucy arrives home from Dans.

Afternoon everyone :)

Jan, those donkeys must love you! :D xx

Cruiser the units sound lovely :) I think loads of people are having work done right now xx

Crommers those speckled neutral colours are very practical :) We have a speckled biscuity beige all through the house, and it copes well with the general mayhem that two dogs and three adults bring  xx

Jo, we got caught in a torrent trying to walk the dogs round the Docks, and gave up   :cute: xx

Hi Osc :) xx

Afternoon tea, yum Saundra! :Hi: xx

I hope your hip improves for the rest today Jen xx

Good to see you Deb :D Enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts  xxx

Well our forecast said light rain until later, so we gathered up the hounds for a walk round the Dock, planning to pick up a takeaway brunch from either Corretto's or one of the food stalls from the food market that's been on down there since Saturday. Got parked down there, picked up our takeaway, and suddenly the heavens opened, and it tipped down! We ran back to the car, sat and had our hot drinks and paninnis, waiting to see if it cleared uo. It soon became apparent that it wasn't going to, so we went to see D instead  No Zumba tonight, as it's a BH Monday.

Take care everyone :) xxx
