Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit chilly this morning but the sun is out, so should warm up nicely.

Bit bonkers weather at the moment, really cold at night, but very warm during the day. Only for the next week or so, but brrrr  And for some reason, it makes a mess of the wifi and I really struggle getting connected, most mornings. I gave up again, turned everything off, put the washing out, had a mug of coffee and here I am

Grumpy will be finishing off the bottom drive this morning then I haven't a clue what he'll be doing. He has a long list though   I'll do some cleaning and make the curry that I should have done yesterday, but got carried away, doing the weeding.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a bit grey here but some sun expected later, and still far too cold, only 7 degrees so far. I thought by now I would have washed my winter jacket and put it away, but it’ll be getting another wear this morning when I go for my Friday walk with my friends. Edward is doing fine, but decided not to play golf as he is still tired - a wise decision on looking at the weather. I’ll be ordering our dinner from next door as per usual Friday, he will have chowder which is easy for him to eat. No plan for the rest of the day. We have hair appointments booked for the week after next, and I have an appointment to get my eyebrows tinted, going to look a whole lot better very soon :D :D :D

Cruiser, delighted to see you have a cruise booked, is it one of those ones where you don’t go into any port?

Osc,

Yes. It is the first one on the Anthem of the Seas sailing from and back to Sothampton.

I wastrying to deceide how to dispose of my wife's ashes and these cruises came up.
So hopefully I will throw them overboard from the bridge as we are sailing down the English Channel.
RCL have lots of rules regarding this sort of operation My travel agent has helped to get agreement that I can do this.

But it will be strange not having my wife sharing the cruise as we have done in the past

Morning all, it’s sunny at the morning although quite cool.

The Tesco delivery has been, it’s such a pain to unload though now that they’ve stopped using tray liners. John took Bill for another walk while I put it all away.

There’s bedding drying in the line so hopefully rain will keep away until it’s dry and there’s also a pile of ironing to do.
I’m now off to sort out the spare room which has become a bit of a dumping ground for unused items.

Cruiser that sounds just perfect.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Nice and bright here, our inside temperature first thing was a degree up on yesterday.

What a lovely idea Cruiser, it's bound to be an emotional trip for you xx

It's wash day, but I won't be changing the bed as usual, E's adamant it can a wait a few days until my hip's a lot better. Actually I had a good night, the first this week, so it is on the mend but he's right, no point in putting extra pressure on it today. Got enough to do bending to empty the machine etc I'll use the grab it stick to be on the safe side. No other plans, E will do a couple of walk round the close again, hopefully I'll be up to a walk along the clifftop next week, fingers crossed the weather warms up.

Hope you all had a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It's sunny here, but pretty chilly! I did my housework first thing, then walked into town. Bought myself a new pair of trousers in M&S, and picked up a couple of bits in Wilkos. Walked up to D's for a bite of lunch, then home.

Enjoy your Friday tapas, Al :) xx

Good old Grumpy, Jan ;) 8-) :) xx

Osc, isn't it great to be able to get hair appointments etc? :D I'm having silver highlights put in on Tuesday, and I've already had a couple of goes on the sunbed, to help my psoriasis :) I'm glad E is recovering well. B is having gum surgery soon, and has booked a few days off for afterwards. I think she might need them! xxx

Cruiser, that's a very nice idea, so I hope you get the permission you need :) xx

Saundra, you must be getting the rain we had earlier this week! Unfortunately we have more forecast for the weekend - good old BH weather, eh? xx

I hope it's stayed dry for you Jo! xx

I'm glad your hip is improving Jen xx

Love to all :) xxx

Cruiser, that is such a lovely thing to do, and I’m sure RCL will do all they can to help. It will be sad and poignant for you but a very special thing to do.

Kaz, obviously B is many many years younger than Edward so I’m sure she will be fine. A day or two off work is a very good idea, our dentist said Edward would be out of sorts for a few days and that is exactly how he is. The surgery rang today to ask how he is, which we thought was nice.
