Good morning Friday.

Good morning.

Looks nice out there. 8-)

Off for a walk soon. :D

Apart from a swim later I'm going to have a lovely lazy day. I normally have 2 private classes at 4.30 (first hour two brothers, second hour Reme who is their cousin) but their grandfather passed away yesterday so they're not coming today) which means I have the day off.

Friday early beers and tapas and as we have watched all Breaking Bad we're going to watch the Prequel film El Camino. :cute: :cute:

Have a good day.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you two, hello and good morning everyone

Ally, nice to have a day off; but not nice reason for it :(
Jan, I can't remember - do you grow your own garlic? Say hi to everyone at the pub when you stop off there :)

Another glorious sunny start to the morning - but still so so darn cold. 0 degrees in the greenhouse at 6.15am this morning when I went to let the chickens out and a light dusting of frost on the roofs of the houses and some plants. But still so dry

Attempting to bake bread this morning - it's a recipe I've used a few times but tweaked it using a different flour (without checking) and then when I thought to check realised that it wasn't quite going to work :D so tweaked it as best I could and now hoping it'll not be a total disaster (but am prepared for it

Taking Amelia to the optometrist for a noon appointment - parents are both working - and that's about all I have for the day. More pootling and working this afternoon

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, another lovely day here and we are having a DAY OUT!!! Once we have tidied up after breakfast we are heading off here https://www.newbridgehouseandfarm.com/ - even though it is not too far away, we have never been there. Just the park is open, but the cafe is open too so we’ll pick up something and have a bit of a picnic. Dinner from next door tonight.

Morning all :D

Another bright sunny day 8-)

Hope the bread isn't too big a disaster Ria.
Enjoy your day out Osc, looks a nice place to visit.

Friday means washing and bed changing day. Planning a walk later this afternoon, depends how I feel after wrestling with the mattress!!

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good after noon, it's a lovely day here too.
We have just been to Sainsbury's and driving there I was struck by how beautiful the trees are now; wonderful white and pink blossom on the cherry trees, blackthorn blossom in the hedges, just lovely.
Good luck wrestling with the mattress Jen! We have the same problem. It is a comfortable bed but turning the mattress is going to finish me one day.
Sister in law is just back from her holiday on the coat. That woman is amazing, she always gets good weather. If she went to John O'Groats in February the sun would shine.
Have a good day all.

actually, if I say so myself it turned out quite alright.... admittedly it would be an issue if you have dentures as it is VERY crusty :D but it's really yummy. Thankfully the way I store my bread tends to soften it quite a bit so as of tomorrow it should be perfect. Baking with rye definitely produces a much flatter loaf, but the nutty flavour is something else.

Definitely will make it again; but next time be a bit more precise with the recipe :D
