had a phone call today --"this is the office of National insurance number -it has come to our notice that someone has compromised number if this raises any debts in your name unless you ring us by pressing #1 you will be held liable
Really ???

One I haven't had for a while is the "I have been informed you've been in a car accident, that wasn't your fault - is that right?" - now it's about my internet bill not being paid / NI number compromised / something else compromised / HMRC unpaid debt ....
The only button to ever press is the red end the call one.
Oh and also, I was told that when you get these calls to not even say anything; apparently some of them they call a number of times to record your voice so they can access things via voice recognition. It's all quite scary really just how clever some of these people are (and desperate)
