Condolences to all the family xx

Well, we had some lovely rain - about half an inch in a matter of minutes - was hammering it down and sounded loud inside the house. Sun now out again.

Been a busy bee, oven now cleaned after that roast pork, it really made a mess   18 samosas made, flat bread made, the two chickens I cooked last night now stripped. I've chucked the carcasses away, as I have plenty of chicken stock and need room for the broad beans in the freezers. now waiting for the cheese lady 8-)

Grumpy was doing some weeding and we noticed there is a baby donkey next door. Shame they don't feed them fresh stuff, so at least they get some when we weed, poor things.

Afternoon all, it’s a gorgeous day here although the wind is very chilly. We went out quite early for a walk, and it was lovely with wonderful views over Dublin Bay. When we got back I put on a batch of soup and had my shower before lunch. This afternoon we will be making a little video wishing friends of ours a happy 50th anniversary, their daughter contacted us and asked us to do it. They live in NI so have already been vaccinated, lucky them. Grand National this afternoon, and the Masters Golf to take us into the evening.

Kaz I'm really sorry to hear that news....may he RIP and condolences to the family xxx

We've had some flakes of snow off and on today (!!)...early start as I was at work, quite a busy session despite not having a clinic today, lots of collections and one dispense appointment. Phone going lots, which isn't the norm for a Saturday. This afternoon I have been out in my car for a drive, I called in to B&Q for a paint chart and some samples, it's just to do a touch up in the tiny bedroom which I have reorganised to be my 'beauty room' LOL - dressing table is in there now and my hairdryer etc....I tried to clean up some black smudge marks on the wall, and found a tester pot in the house but it wasn't the same shade of fawn/taupe.....result: pale marks instead of black ones  I MAY end up repainting the whole room....just not today!!

While I was out I popped to a farm shop for a takeaway coffee, rang Jan my old work colleague while sitting in the car and we talked for almost an hour! Home again now and looking forward to our weekly Chinese 8-)

Any GN winners out there? None here :?

Crommers did you make some bread? I bet the house smells gorgeous now 8-)

Enjoy the evening all x
