Census

Postby cruiser2 » 30 Mar 2021, 15:33

I have now received four paper forms wnich I have completed and returned.
Also had a letter with the code so have completed it online as requested.
Yet this morning I have had another letter with a code to say I have not completed a form for the Census.

I don'tknow what has happened to the ones I have returned. When I phoned the woman who answered was not helpful and I put the phone down on her.

What a waste of time and paper.
I have also had an eight page leaflet and a twent four page form to claim benefits following the death of mrs.e.

Think it keeps people in jobs cruiser
Total wast of space
And as for form filling after your loss
It's pointless if you have savings ?

Cruiser, your local council should have a department - Welfare services, Welfare rights, Welfare support or some such. You should contact them asap for help. They should do home visits. Keep the pressure on and do not take "No" for an answer.

This is more than red tape, Kaz, failure to complete the census is a criminal offence and could render a person liable for a fine of up to £1,000. It needs sorting.
