Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 30 Mar 2021, 05:48

Good morning.

Set to be lovely again. 8-)

We're off to our beloved Nerja. :cute:

It's our 31st wedding anniversary next Tuesday so Don booked us a night in a boutique hotel for an early present. :D

Setting off around 9am, get to the hotel (he requested an early check in time  ) have breakfast then spend the day exploring, have a walk on the beach and eat ice cream.

We've booked a table at our favourite Indian restaurant for dinner.

I'm really looking forward to it as I just adore Nerja. 8-)

Have a good day. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Strange sky this morning, something to do with dust from the Sahara  Going to be a warm one too 8-)

Have a lovely time Ally :Hi:

Due to the state of the sky and the warning about bods with dodgy lungs, we're having a day of staying in. Grumpy had planned to get some weeding done and I had planned to do the rest of the washing, but think we'll give ourselves a day off. Tomorrow should be better.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is shining.
A joiner is coming today. He will be doing fur small jobs. I am glad the weather is nice as one is easing the windows in the front bedroom.
They are very hard to open and close.
Then it will be weeding in the front gaden. I will then be able to buy plants and have a colourful display in the summer.
May even cut the grass in the lawn at the back.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine here 8-)

Have a lovely break Ally.
Enjoy having a day off Jan.
Have fun in the garden Cruiser and Saundra.

I'd just finished drying after my shower when the District Nurse arrived. Luckily I had a kaftan close by to throw on. She's redressed E's wound for another week, it looks really good, but just incase he catches it she decided to keep it covered till next Tues.

Expecting an M&S food delivery between 12.30-1.30. We're planning to have a couple of walks round the close again today and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

It's a lovely day here too Saundra. Sunny and warm with no wind.
Enjoy Nerja Ally and the garden Cruiser. A day off will probably be no bad thing Jan.

Son is here atm power washing the back flags.
MrsC has got herself an appointment at the hairdressers! :Hi: :Hi:
The Salix in the back garden is coming green now, very fast.
Have a lovely day all.

Lovely day here too. Miss Osc was here earlier, she had run to work and forgot her purse, so needed to borrow money to buy a coffee and for office postage. Edward is over at the nearby green area practising golf, and I’ve just had a nice chat on the phone with my brother. Doing some basic h/work now and will get out for a walk later. A book I had ordered arrived this morning, Firefly Lane, we’ve been watching it on Netflix but they left it hanging with a view to a second series, so I wasn’t prepared to wait :D

Lucky MrsC, Crommers, goodness only knows when hairdressers will open here :?

Afternoon all :)

Ally, have an amazing time :D :D xxx

Jan, we've had Saharan dust here once or twice, believe it or not   xxx

Hope the joiner gets his jobs done Cruiser :) Sounds as though your garden will be looking lovely soon :) xxx

Happy weeding, Saundra ;) xxx

Glad the DN is looking after E so well Jen xxx

Crommers, my appointment is for the 23rd, and to say I was counting the days would be an understatement!  xxx

Good idea on the book Osc ;) xxx

It's the most beautiful sunny day here, 18° with a very slight breeze. Perfect for a long walk so I took the pretty route across the park up to Morrison's, then up to see D. I wore my new pink denim jacket and felt very summery :Hi:

Home now, might do Zumba tonight, but as I've already walked over 5 miles I might not. Will play it by ear :)

Take care everyone :) xxx

Every day is a day off for me at the moment  Grumpy won't let me do anything, not even take the washing out to peg out  I can't lift, push or pull anything, so I'm spending my days reading and going every so slightly bonkers

Grumpy is bored today too. You can actually taste the dust, nasty :cute:

Afternoon all, I’m just having a minute while dinner’s cooking.

Bill’s had three walks (so far), twice in the woods this morning - first thing and just before lunch - and then he came to the post box with me. I’ve ironed, hoovered and then ironed today’s washing. I’ve also experimented with washing one of the sofa seat cushions, it’s washed well so I can crack on with the rest.

My hair appointment is at 10.30 on the 12th, I’ve been looking at styles today. I had a fair bit cut off last year and I loved it a bit shorter but it’s grown back now.

Have a good evening all x
