GOOD MORNING Vera's mam! - or is that Sunday.?

Postby Workingman » 28 Mar 2021, 06:07

Couldn't sleep so have been up pottering.

Have been talking to Becky in the real Vietnam and she's 7 hours ahead so I just stayed up.

It is clear with just a bit of drizzle and could get warmer later.

Hope you all have a good day, though I might be asleep for some of it. ;)

Morning WM, morning everyone

Another hazy sunshine day, but at least it's warm 8-)

Cooked breakfast, sat outside, this morning. Then more sitting outside for me and more weeding and doing whatever needs doing for Grumpy.

Footie later again and we'll finish off the curry afterwards.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good afternoon.

Went for a super 24km bike ride this morning. The pine forests here have smashing trails.

I'm showered, had two bacon rolls and I'm now going to lie reading by the pool. All day.

Mum and dad would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary today. They got to 58 which is wonderful. X

(((Saundra))) xx

Roast chicken for dinner.

Afternoon all :D

Bright and dry, but a tad windy.

Normal Sunday here, the only excitement is a walk round the close. Roast chicken for dinner later, strawberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon.

The rain has stopped but still windy.
Finished the ironing this morning. It included two sheets , three shirts as well as hankies and underwear.

After lunch neighbiur acros the road came across to say I had a puncture. Slackened off the nuts but I was not sure where to put the jack.
So phoned Green Flag. Tey came out just after 3.00 p.m and changed the wheel. The spare wheel in not a full wheel and I can only do a maximum of 50 mph.
Will be goung to get a ew tyre tomorrow as there are two screws in it one nea the wall of the tyre.
Have a good day everybody.

Evening everyone :)

Losing that hour's sleep seems to have had me discombobulated all day! :cute:  We eventually dragged ourselves out of bed, went out for the papers and round to D's for a while. It was almost 2pm by the time we got home, so I found some cottage pie in the freezer and we had that with veg for a late lunch :) Spent the rest of the afternoon reading the paper, doing the crossword, and watching the telly   I've just got off the phone to the boys, I always ring them both on Sundays 8-) xxx

Love to all xxx

Evening everyone hope your first light evening of the year has been good 8-)

I've had a peaceful day on my own as Tom's had a day working....he'd registered with an agency for driving jobs and they phoned on Friday about today. It's his first one, so he was keen to have a go - he's been EVERYWHERE!! :D Delivering build your own sheds from Ikea to Redcar, Saltburn. Darlington, Barnard Castle, you name it. he's been there! Almost done his shift, he needed to fill up the vehicle and has had a problem so he's still stuck on the sliproad of the A1, literally down the road from home! But his car is still at Gateshead so he has to wait for the recovery guy to come out, and tow him back to the depot!! Lord knows when he'll get home!!! I can see from my app that he's still there....two hours and counting!! And then still at least an hour to add to that to get to G'head and back  Oh and he's back to work proper tomorrow after a week's holiday :(
