Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun and high cloud this morning.

Washing machine will be on as soon as Grumpy gets up. I'll be doing not a lot and he'll be running around like I normally do  Also strimming the drive was mentioned yesterday, so he'll do that this afternoon.

I can sit and watch the antics next door, as the idiot tries to put a car-port up. He's managed, over three weeks, to get three uprights done and one cross beam. He's doing it off a scaffold that is on a slope and we're just waiting for it to start sliding down the slope  Yesterday, he realised he had one upright too long, so he got on the scaffold and cut the top off

Thoughts for the Crommers family today xx and hope Cruiser is bearing up too x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally :) Morning all :)

Crommers, my very best thoughts and wishes to you all today xxx

Thinking of you too, Cruiser xxx

Jan, your neighbour is better than a cabaret!. xxx

It looks like a bright, dry day today. Mick is off all week, using up the last of his annual leave before April. The next few days will be busy laying a new laminate floor in one of D's spare bedrooms. The old carpet in there had started to smell of rotting rubber, it had been down since they built the upstairs former bedrooms just after they moved in, in the early eighties! So Mick pulled it up, and we collected the laminate click-lock stuff from B&Q last weekend. It's the same as he put down in Harry's room a couple of years ago. I will probably walk round later, to get my steps in and see D. My shoulder is a bit sore where the jab site is, but otherwise we both feel absolutely fine :D Might do Zumba tonight, will see how it goes.

Take care everyone :) xxx

Morning you three, morning everyone

Crommers, thinking of you all this morning and hope the day goes as well as can be - hugs

Ally, we can only dream of warmth. We have a few warmer days coming up but then as of next weekend it's dropping right down again. But then last year March I'm sure was similar?
Jan, your neighbour is better than any soap on the TV :D
Kaz, glad you're feeling OK after your jab. Good luck with the floor laying - makes such a difference

Well about to go to Sainsbury's for my usual shop (and a few bits for two neighbours); I didn't go yesterday so have to do it this morning and then back to a usual work day interspersed with the usual pootling - so really not much to report.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s not a bad day, looks changeable, I’ve put the towels on the clothesline and we’ll see how it goes. We are shortly setting off to Miss Osc’s house, there is a shed sized playhouse in the garden which Kellie has claimed for herself, but it needs work done on it, wood replaced etc. So Edward will start working on it and I will be his apprentice and gofer. Michael goes back to school today, Kellie has been back for two weeks, so although SIL is working from home, we’ll get a clear run at it. Crommers, I hope today goes as well as these things can, and I’m thinking of Cruiser too. Got news last night of the very sudden death of one of our gym ladies, huge shock, she had been posting on our WhatsApp group late Friday night. You never know what lies ahead.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Crommers hope things go well today, thinking of you and the family xx

Will be getting E's bag ready for tomorrow and keeping fingers tightly crossed we don't get the dreaded phone call. Other than that we're planning to have a quiet day.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Oh Jen, fingers, toes and paws crossed and in this household - what with all the cats - that makes for a lot of crossing! xx

Good afternoon.

Been to the dentist as part of a filling had fallen out. Said he would put a new one in and also twonew ones on teeth where the enamal has cracked.
The earliest date is April 19th and this is with a private practice wher I have been going several years.

Then to the bank to cancel Mrs.e's details. We had two seperate joint accounts so it was easy to make the necesary changes. I knew the girl who
took the details. Very kind and gentle making sure I was happy at what was being done.
Back home, more cards including two from VV. Thank you. I cry when I open and read them. I am running out of room to put them.
Now going to have a siesta while the washer is on. Still four sheets to iron.

Good afternoon.
Thanks for all the good wishes folks. It went well; it was a beautiful service. MrsC's eulogy was perfect and the Vicar was very good.
It was high church style; the Vicar was Father, and there was incense. He had a beautiful voice; very calming and certain.
It was a little unusual; social distancing and no hymns, but I don't think it could have gone much better than it did.
Jen, fingers tightly crossed for you and E tomorrow.
Have a good day all.
