Another berluddy hell, as Jan would put it.

This is the next door bungalow. Sheila passed away in January, she was 80, and the family have quickly put it on the market.

Originally there was a dining room and a living room; these have been knocked through to create one bigger room, which actually I don't really like - given it's only a 2 bedroom house, to "lose" a room, if you see what I mean, is I think is a bit detrimental. Otherwise it's identical to ours although it looks in better nick!

But £385k??? :o Good grief!
We paid £320k in 2016 for ours, and have probably spent around £20k doing it up since. I'd have thought no more than £345-£350k to be honest ....

Property has gone up a lot! Nice bungalow, but I think I agree with you about losing a room.

That’s a lovely sized bungalow. Shame about the loss of the extra room though, that could’ve been marketed as a home office which is now something that’s become very desirable.

First viewing today (AFAIK) - looked like a hip, yuppie-ish couple in their 40's. Probably Londoners .... :cute:

I wonder how impressed they were with my mate A.... and I out on the front lawn talking broad Summerzet when they arrived

I’m just glad that John moved up here when he was young, otherwise he’d have had a Norwich accent and I really struggle with deciphering what the family down there are saying
