Tonight, and for one night only, it's..."The Opry Windbag show, with the Ginger Whinger and Miss Markle - Come on down!"

No - don't stop - see that sign - the exit one - keep going.... byeee!

I don't know, I think MrsC might want to watch it. Her sister definitely will.
One thing I have noticed is that the mud slinging has started in earnest now; allegations of bullying, wearing gifts from rich Arabs etc.
I reckon MM is going to throw a bit of mud herself, tonight.

I am rather surprised at the lack of compassion shown for the ex Royal couple here.

Mental health is a strange thing, if you've never had experience of depression/anxiety you are very lucky. Most of us have had at some point in our lives, how we deal with it is a personal thing. Sad to say this couple are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I will watch (or at least record) the programme, if only to see how Harry is coping with his new life. Don't get me wrong I'm not a big MM fan but really, can we not be slanted quite so much to the negative here?

I don't dislike them Gal.I just think that an actress who has doubtless had to be tough to get on in a very tough Hollywood environment wasn't ever going to be the sort of person to hand out prizes at a village fete, or whatever. She was always going to be a bit too hot and sparky for the Royal Family imo.
Harry I still feel a bit sorry for. Army or no, he's always seemed a bit vulnerable to me. As Medsec said in another thread, he's besotted. He can't and won't see any wrong in MM. I just hope they stay together because I don't think he'd cope very well with a split.

It's just personal opinion Gal :? I was a huge fan of the both of them at the start, but feel he's bitten the hand that feeds him :( Do the Queen and Prince Phillip deserve this muckraking, at their time of life? They could just have gone, and not courted all of this publicity. What do they want, privacy or to sell their story for megabucks? The timing is terrible during a pandemic when people are dying and losing their jobs, and they are living in luxury.

In no doubt that Harry was affected by the death of his mum and visibly hated the media and all it entails
But as a couple they move to usa and pursue a future there by going to the media for their own good and the money it pays why if they wanted a life from media intrusion?

It's extremely poor timing, but I'm not sure that's a decision made by them, more likely the tv companies hoping to gain viewing figures.

I thought people would have a less negative opinion of them, especially given what Harry himself has been through in the past, it's not as though he has shied away from talking about his mental health in the recent past.

Then why seek out publicity, much of which is bound to be negative? Especially when M is pregnant - why look for the stress?. :? It doesn't add up.
