I’m having a lazy day. I got up late, opened cards and presents and then sat reading my book.

I’m taking L to work later and then picking her up around 10 and that’s probably all I’ll actually do today!

Been busy sorting E's transfers, like last time he has to do the round trip three days before admission for a Covid test. Noah, Z's youngest, is 11 today, honestly I can hardly believe it Oh and it's wash day here, 1st load has just finished, only 2 more to go.

Happy birthday Debih!! This IS genuine, right - not a Queen's birthday like a certain time before??

More drama on the Amy front last night, Tom got a text to say she was in hospital having fallen over and broken her ankle! She also sent him a pic, it's gruesome. Will definitely need setting, I don't know how she's done it, all she says is she was out walking with her friend. So she's been there overnight and no sign of her coming home soon, it's been CT scanned today with possibly an op tomorrow. Sigh.

Felt a bit rubbish this morning, all last week I was upstairs in my room keeping out of Tom's way, and not going out, then today now he's allowed out, he's taken the kids out for a walk. Nice for him, but it does feel very unfair

He moved my car out of the garage yesterday, first time for a two weeks, and I spotted a bit of oil on the garage floor ...hope it isn't anything too bad.

It's still pouring here! Very glad of my new puffa coat, and its hood! Even though B says I look like a yellow Crayola crayon in it with the hood up - cheeky moo! I'm quite pleased as I got into a pair of jeans that haven't for me since before Christmas. I've also tried a new purple shampoo on my hair, to blend the growing out white/grey riots with the blonde ends - it came out rather well Even if my dear brother-in-law called it a purple rinse for a woman of a certain age on FB He can shout, his has been white for years!

I managed half a flower bed The wind was wicked, but still managed to three buckets of weeds to the donkeys.

Broke my ankle a few years ago Gal. Amy will be in hospital for a while yet. Hope she recovers soon x
