Good morning all.
Much milder today. I have rung a builder to come and look at the garden wall; some of the mortar is falling out.
Today I have tried (and tried) to book my covid jab through the NHS website.
No go. Whatever I do I keep getting referred back to the "Do you know your NHS number?" page.
Yes I do, it's right here on this letter in front of me. I'm 65, it says 65 year olds can book on line. Well this one can't and I'm far from happy. Frustrating isn't the word for it. I'll ring 119 and see what happens. My expectations are low; it's probably the best way.
I need a phone top up and a paper, that's about it for the day.
Have a good day all.

ETA - Managed it. First jab 10.10 am Thursday. :)

Got a box of books :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Blowing a hooley now, so guess what I'm going to do ;)

Will be thinking you both on Sunday Cruiser - and what a good service that sounds, door to door :D Is there any help you can get for yourselves during the day? Help with housework etc?

I feel your pain Debih. I'm still waiting for an appointment to sort out my tooth

Morning all :D

We've had rain overnight and most of the snow has gone, just some piled up against the fences.

Cruiser glad to hear Mrs.E has an appointment. We use a similar service for transfers to/from the airport.
Debih hope the test result is negative and your toothache eases x

Nothing much happening here today, expecting a Tesco delivery later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

I don't know Saundra, I've heard nothing from them.

Aw thank you Saundra, I am feeling ok, tbh, bit of a cough, bit of a head cold/snuffly nose, lost my sense of smell....no biggie, I haven't lost any energy, had Spotify on earlier and danced about the house  (now that I can, as Tom is back to work, albeit only to call in at the depot to collect some stuff, I made the most of it while he was out  Plus point was he called at McDonalds on the way home and got me a latte and a McFlurry 8-) )

Feel a bit of a fraud tbh....under normal circs I'd have been at work feeling like this....hey ho. Been a lovely day, after a misty start, and quite mild! I went into the garden for a walk LOL, lots of it is under water which is a concern but more rain forecast so cannot be helped  I've had a text from our surgery inviting me to get a vaccine.....erm had it, but I thought they'd have been made aware by now :?

Have you had your result yet Deb? Hope it's negative x

Cruiser I'm glad you have the limo - how good that the hospital visit will be so smoothly done there and back, every good wish for Mrs E xx
