Good morning Saturday.

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and warm.

Ignoring my trainers today.

We're going out today. :cute: :cute: :cute:

Walking into town around 1pm to Mercadona to pick up a few bits then heading to our favourite place for lunch...Gambrinus.
We'll sit outside, have a few beers and a bite to eat. I'm really looking forward to it. :P

Head home late afternoon and this evening pizza and Breaking Bad.

Have a good day everyone.xx

Morning all and all, it’s sunny here but bitterly cold still and there’s an icy strong wind.

Once John’s up and had breakfast we’ll walk Bill on Hednesford Hills. Might get around to starting the jigsaw that I got out to start last Saturday. Also need to drop my Dyson charger off at my Mom and Dad’s, they called yesterday because their’s isn’t charging - again - so could they try our charger. That’s this week’s problem, there’s usually a problem with my Dad’s phone and there were weeks when it was the boiler but he’s gone as far as removing the oven door and not being able to refit it.

Vibes to Cruiser and Mrs E.

Love the sound of your day, Al :Hi:

Have a good day all :)

Oh that's nothing Jo, I got round D's the other day and she was pulling up one of the spare bedroom's carpet  With her chest the way it is  :? Looks like Mick has a new job when he's finished our ensuite - wood flooring in there    She's a very determined lady and I love her to bits :D

Morning all :)

Ally a meal and drinks out in the sun sounds absolutely perfect!! Enjoy and have one for me? :D :Hi: xxx

Have a good walk Jo, we might take the dogs round the Dock basin again, the boats look so pretty and if we walk round twice it's a fair few steps 8-) Then we'll go and make sure D isn't knocking down any walls   Mick is putting the new loo and hopefully the shower later :) I'll be cleaning up after him ;)

Stay warm everyone :) xxx

Good morning all.
Freezing day here and that wind! As Jo says, icy. I don't think cafe society and drinks outside are on the list of things to do here quite yet!
It would have to be a mug of steaming coffee, if so.
A trip to Tesco shortly and that's about it.
Thoughts for the Cruisers.
Have a good day all.

Morning all - it’s a foul morning here (Edward asked could I say sh*te and I told him I did the other day  ), cold and raining/sleeting, with a strong wind. We didn’t even get out of bed until almost 9.30. It’s making us look back at the first lockdown last Spring almost with nostalgia, of course it was still a novelty then but the weather was lovely too. No plan for the day, nothing new there, but I will definitely do some ironing, make a batch of soup, then knitting. I’m sure Edward will find plenty of sport to watch. Thinking of Cruiser and Mrs.e.

A perfect day in store for you Ally!!! Enjoy 8-)

Kaz, D sounds very independent, like my mam used to be, she'd tackle anything before asking for help....determined ladies, eh? Ooo I'm excited for your en suite project, what colour tiles/scheme have you gone for?

Well it is Tom's birthday today - another celebration but not a normal one as we're both still isolating!!! I took him breakfast in bed (we're sleeping in separate rooms since he started feeling ill) and FaceTimed the kids while he opened the presents from them that John called with last night, passing them through the window. Then I decided to book a covid test for myself as I have a cold and cough...what a task for the birthday boy to run me through to the testing site!! It was a nice look out though....and a bit of normal after 9 days indoors. Hopefully it will be negative but at least I'll know one way or another *fingers crossed

It's sunny and bright but REALLY cold, and breezy, don't think temps are to rise above freezing at all

Have a good Saturday however you are spending it xx

Morning all :D

Bright, sunny and cold. We're having the slowest thaw ever, still plenty of snow and ice, with just a tiny area of grass peeking through.

Jan and Ally if only you could send some of that warmth here.
I'm in need of a good hair cut too Saundra.
Cruiser and Mrs.E hope things are a little better for you both today.

Nothing much happening here, just general house stuff.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx

Good afternoon everybody.

Thank you all for asking about me and mrs.e. I know I am a grown man but I feel like crying sometimes.
No change. Mrs.e is downstairs sleeping. I will be having a siesta soon. Ned one as mrs. e woke me at 4.00 a.m and 6.30 a.m to go to the toilet.
Have just spent about 30 minutes transferring the power leads form an old six gang extension lead to a new power tower which also has two sockets for
charging phones and other mobile devices. I now have spare sockets, six are already in use.
Next job is to move the BT mastersocket so I can get the computer desk closer to the wall.
Have a good day everybody.
