Good morning all.
Absolutely freezing here and not expected to get above freezing all day.
I have some printing to deliver to our daughter's this pm and we need a quick supermarket trip.
Our daughter and son in law were in contact with someone who tested positive last week. They got tested yesterday and the result is back in, they are both negative. Relief!
We also need to drop some bits off at the care home.
I'll feed the huskies and get the sled out!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine, but there's still plenty of snow out there.

E's been lucky, no sore arm or other side effects.

Not much happening today, we're having a casserole for dinner this evening, popped it in the slow cooker first thing. Now waiting for the bin men to arrive so I can bring them in. Sainsbury's due later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, Don's cooking always sounds so good! :D xxx

Morning Cruiser, sending more good wishes for Mrs e :) xxx

Jan, hopefully you'll be glad of this rain once Summer comes, but I know it's a misery at the time  xxx

Frank, it's very very cold here too! :cute: Thankfully not much breeze so no chill factor. Glad you're feeling good after your jab 8-) xxx

I hope the meeting goes well for them Jo, a necessary evil getting that kind of stuff done. Mick and his mum and brothers did all that a couple of years ago. We've been keeping the delivery people busy too! Mostly Becky, but I've needed new undies from M&S and Mick's had stuff from work, and bits for his FIT xxx

Saundra, it would be a lovely day to walk on the front, I wish we could both do it :) That was a lovely gesture, I'm sure the dustbin collectors really appreciated it 8-) xxx

Osc, have a ((((((hug))))) It sometimes feels like forever all this, doesn't it? But it will get better xxx

Oh Ria, what a time for your neighbour's heating to fail :( I hope she manages to stay warm until it's fixed - she's lucky to have a good neighbour like you to help xxx

Definitely casserole weather Jen :) I'm glad E had no side effects xxx

I've been supermarket shopping. Is it just me, or has everything gone up a lot in the last year? :? My bills have skyrocketed :cute: Mick has run B into work, and I'm just about to make us some lunch - ham salad wraps for Mick, and ryvitas with cheese for me 8-) I might do some housework this afternoon, but with Mick trailing stuff through, up to the ensuite, there isn't much point really ;) Making either a chilli or spicy mince for dinner later.

Stay warm everyone :) xx

How lovely for you Saundra :Hi: :Hi:

I'm just heading for the shower, then a haircut. It's warm enough to sit outside, in the garden room, to have it done 8-) A lovely show for the cows   me in a bra

Oh yes, Kaz, we will be glad of the rain come the summer. Our borehole shouldn't have any problem and also pleased to say that the Barragem de Rocha is filling up nicely. They've diverted water from up north, so it's travelling a long way  It supplies the surrounding area, including Castro Verde and Almodover, so needs to be full, or as near as it can. Once we're able to travel again, we'll go and have a looksee.

Oh that’s brilliant news Saundra :Hi:

Kaz, it was like Christmas all over again here when Tom came back from a month at Shannon’s. He’d had so many parcels delivered while he was away
