Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 10 Feb 2021, 06:02

Good morning.

We're forecast a dullish day but 19 degrees so no complaints.

Off for a walk first then back to do a bit of correcting and marking writing papers online.

Ana's two zoom classes at 4pm (that's my last Mon/Wed covering.)

Rick Stein and Sleb Homecook on TV tonight and I'm making a mushroom risotto for dinner. :D

Have a great day

Another wet and windy day - and night  Howling wind kept us both awake

Shopping trip cancelled until tomorrow now. I'm not going out in this

So this morning will be spent cleaning the inside of the kitchen cabinets. I did the outside's yesterday.

How's Mrs E, Cruiser?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning. Cold but a sunny blue sky.
Not sure about today. We may have to go and get FiL some bits from the supermarket later. The doctor is going to the home today to give him a once over.
Our daughter has given her notice in as she has found another job.
So I think it's off to the paper shop and settle down agan for the day.
Have a good one everybody.

Saundra... I'm looking forward to going to Iceland but as it's in Mijas we can't go yet as still not allowed to leave our town.

Although the cafes, bars, restaurants and non essential shops all reopened today which is lovely.

We've already earmarked lunch in Gambrinus on Saturday.

Morning all, it is actually sunny here for the moment, but very cold, lots of dark clouds around and the sea is grey and angry looking. We’re heading out for our walk now, then I’ll see where the rest of the day leads me. Hope Jo is ok, and Cruiser, you are doing a great job looking after Mrs E, hope you get answers soon.

The rain eased, so we went out to lower the water in the pool.

Came back soaked   That fine stuff really does make you wet

Hope Jo is okay xx

Morning all

A cold but sunny morning with very little wind which makes a lovely change. Although as I type the clouds are moving in and the wind seems to be picking up.

Ally enjoy that lunch - I cannot wait for our pubs and restaurants to reopen; I miss meeting up with Nadine for a mooch around the shops followed by a glass or two.
Cruiser, hope Mrs E feels a bit better soon - were you able to speak to anyone about nutritional supplements?
Jan, you weather sounds horrid
Crommers, congratulations to your daughter on the new job and hopefully the doctor is happy with how your FiL is doing
Saundra, I'm going shopping in a bit and will look at ingredients for a stew - haven't had one for a while and it's definitely the right weather for it at the moment isn't it.
Osc wrap up warm for that walk

Hope Jo is doing OK? Anyone been in touch with her? If not I can send her a message?

usual / usual for me. Need to pop to the post office in a bit and as said some Sainsbury's shopping for myself and two neighbours.

Have a lovely day all x

Day *counts on fingers* 5 of sitting in the bedroom....roll on Sunday....

We've had a LOT of snow overnight and more during the morning....I did nip downstairs to clean the slight condensation off the windows and Charlie was very keen to see what the white stuff was all about so I let him out for a sniff round, he loved it! Wish I had my phone to take some pics, he looked so cute up to his belly in snow 8-) :D We keep getting a sunny spell also where it looks gorgeous, and I want to go out in it!! :(

Tom's "not better but not worse", I'm still fine, the slightly stronger tablets that were delivered to me yesterday from our local pharmacy (I rang to explain I was isolating and the lady - who I know - said she'd have them delivered) seem to be helping, as no further probs with palpitations.

I saw some pics from Jo on Instagram so I'm assuming she's been out with the dog? Hope she's feeling better too xx

Ally are your restrictions lifted a fair bit now? I've not heard how Spain is doing re the pandemic...I can't imagine our non-essential shops opening for ages yet, and as for bars and restaurants!! How lovely to be able to plan times out like that 8-)

Have a lovely Wednesday all xxx
