Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 09 Feb 2021, 05:25

Good morning.

Forecast sunshiney clouds....yesterday's promised showers were non existent and ended up a beautifully warm day.

Two morning zoom classes from 9am so I'm going to nip out for a quick run as soon as it's light, shower and be ready for then.

Pootle till classes again 4 - 9. Ana's doing fine thanks Ria. We spoke on whatsapp last night and apart from still feeling a bit sore/tender she's doing good.

My homemade Masterchef is preparing chicken tagine tray bake (Tom Kerridge recipe) for dinner. :D

Don's just read in the Diario Sur that our town's non essential shops are opening again tomorrow. I'm shocked it's been two weeks since they closed....time is not computing with me at the moment.

Have a great day.

How's Mrs E Cruiser?

Good morning Ally and anybody else is up.

Had a light dusting of snow in the night and still some flakes falling although the sun is out.
Will go hopping when mrs.e wakes up and has hadbreakfast. She is still sleeping. Had to get up twice in the night to help her to the toilet.
She is still not eating very much. I am worried she is not getting any nourishment to build up her strength.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Dull, grey, wet and windy  But mild

When you're out shopping, pop into a chemist Cruiser and ask for some advice on eating and supplements. Hope they can help.

General pootling today. Inside again  Fed up with this now, but have another few days of it. Happy with the rain, just not having it all the time. But nine years ago, we had rain every day and lots of it, from 22 December until 22 February, so shouldn't complain ;)

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning you three, morning everyone

Ally, glad to hear Anna is getting better. That chicken dish sounds yummy - will google and see if I can find the recipe.
Cruiser, agree with Jan - either pop into the chemist and ask for a supplement, or even ask the GP for something. A nutritional drink that will give her all the vitamins and minerals she needs. If you lived closer I'd cook you a big batch of homemade chicken soup - that's always so full of goodness
Jan, I'm also getting fed up with the weather. I'm just gagging to get outside and pootle about in the garden / at the allotment, but it's just too cold and/or wet. I didn't realise just how much I miss being outside; but it's really starting to get to me. Oh well - it will improve; I've got plenty to be doing inside and there are people infinitely worse off than me.

Usual usual for me - ie a lot of doing not very much :D

Have a lovely day all, as always - stay warm / dry / safe xxx

Good morning all.
Snow on the ground here and we are having the occasion flurry. Nothing major though. But the wind! Not strong thank the Lord but icy, it goes right through you. Goodness knows what it's like on the East coast. :o :o :o
It may be a day to stay in. Certainly sunbathing is off the menu.
I just found out that groundhog day is February the 2nd!
Must ring my brother up to see how he's getting on.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm!

Morning all, another miserable day, very cold with flurries of sleet/wet snow. So fed up with it now. We had a nice walk with Michael and Kellie yesterday, all well wrapped up, and they were showing us their new neighbourhood - even though I know it quite well from my youth and they were interested when I told them of school friends who lived in some of the houses we passed. Absolutely no plan for today except knitting and reading and I might clean the bathrooms.
