Good morning.

We're forecast showers from late morning so I'm nipping out now for a run.

Happily pootle till Ana's two zoom classes at 4pm (last week covering for her.) :cute:

Have a great day.

Best wishes for Mrs E Cruiser.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We have sunshine :Hi: :Hi: and blue sky :Hi: :Hi: Also rain forecast for later

Will get the washing machine going, so I can put some washing out this afternoon, hopefully. Then a general pootle. See if I can clean the slats on the shutters. Not easy, as they're wooden. Might be able to get a toothbrush through. I used wet wipes last time and it wasn't really successful

Hope Mrs E gets all the tests done this week and the results come back soon x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Merry morning all

Ally, how is Anna doing?
Saundra, interesting that you've got snow - they were predicting it to be more East of the UK so maybe if you've got some we'll get a bit more. So far we haven't had much at all, just a very very light scattering over night that disappeared by the time I got up. Some very half hearted flurries going on throughout the morning, but it's so windy that nothing has the chance to settle. But it's very very cold; that wind is really biting!

Jan, hope you get the washing done before the rain starts; at least with the wind you usually have things do dry rather quick :D

How easy would it be to take the shutters off their hinges Jan; just wondering if it would be easier to take them off and give them a good wash outside and then hang up again?

I had a lazy weekend. Up very early yesterday to take a friend to Slough for her Covid vaccination. She works at a dental practice; the one where she is is is here in Woking but for private patients only whereas their other branch located in Sandhurst is NHS so they managed to get the vaccination via there; but the catch was having to get to Slough. She doesn't drive so asked if I could take her. Got home and spent most of the day on the sofa just chilling; I did bake a lemon drizzle cake so that'll see me through the week

Usual usual for me - work / pootle / tidy

Have a lovely day all; vibes for those that need them

stay warm / dry / safe xxx

Good morning all.
Grey here. Very cold with the odd flurry of snow. MrsC's optimism at hanging some washing out was misplaced!
Same old same old here too.
One more day nearer the vaccination hopefully.
Have a good day all.

Saundra, that is a tremendous idea!
Instead of standing on the doorstep clapping we could stand on the doorstep and just go "Aaaaaaarghhh!!!".
Then go back in the house!

The papers need to hear of this!
