Good morning Saturday.

Good morning.

Sunny and warm forecast.

Off for a walk then back to have a lovely lazy day. :D

I've got 46 books on my kindle waiting to be read but accidentally bought another 3 yesterday that I just couldn't resist.

I'm thinking reading will be the order of the day today.

Don's cooking a Rogan Josh tonight and we'll go for another 4 episodes of the second series in Breaking Bad...we did four last night. It has me hooked like nothing TV wise has ever done before!

Have a great day.

How's Mrs E Cruiser?

Cloudy, windy, not that war, but dry at the moment, More rain forecast for the next few days

Will have to let some more water out of the pool. Daft, when in the summer, we're putting more in

Not a lot going on again, curry made and I'll make some garlic and chilli flatbread to go with it.

I was going to have a haircut this morning, but some-one has forgotten

Hope Mrs E doing okay x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it’s foggy here. I think we’ve got a fair bit of rain forecast from noon for the rest of the day.

We’re off with Bill to Hednesford Hills shortly, we’ve not been so often lately with the bad weather and it’s his favourite place for a walk. I’ve got to cut John’s hair too and I know Tom’s itching to ask for a haircut but he’s not talking to me.

Me and Joe are off for our vaccinations at 5.30. John’s taking us so that we can leave straight away, if Joe drove they recommend waiting in the car for 15 minutes afterwards before driving and say that they prefer that people get lifts. I suppose that now people aren’t having to wait it’s freeing up valuable car parking space as the place is only accessible by car and when we took my Dad the queue to get onto the car park stretched along the A5.

Might start a jigsaw today.

Hope all is well with Mrs E x

Have a good day all :)

Good morning all. I hope Bill enjoys his walk! Have you got a glitter ball for the disco Ally? ;)
It's a foul day here, grey and raining steadily.
Just need a paper and that will be it.
Hope MrsE is OK Cruiser.
Cricket highlights tonight.
Have a good day all.

Got up early to watch the cricket, England 555 - 8 v India at close. Tomorrow we'll probably bat just a few overs with a bash then declare.

Recovery vibes to all of those who need them and sympathies to all of you doing housework and ironing.

It's been raining steadily all morning and looks set to continue so I am going to have a bit of breakfast and then a nap.

Stay safe, warm and dry.

Afternoon all :D

Very wet here

Any news on Mrs.E Cruiser?
Good luck with your jabs Jo.

Woke up with a sore arm, otherwise feeling fine. We had a lovely lie in to make up for getting up early yesterday, means we're way behind, but who cares, one of the best things about being retired is you can do as you like 8-) The rain's as good an excuse as any to stay in and be lazy as usual

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, woke up to another dreary damp day. After breakfast we made ourselves go out for a walk in the heavy drizzle, and of course, once we got back the rain stopped and there is even occasional blue sky  Edward put together meatballs to put in the freezer while I tidied around. He is “watching” rugby although he does appear to be watching it through closed eyelids ;) I’m going to read, and plan to finish a baby blanket I have been knitting.

Yet another wet day here today. No sunshine since Monday and next weeks' forecast is awful. No matter as I won't be going anywhere since Tom's message came though late last night. I have been in touch with work and he's been on the phone to various people that he had been in touch with in the past 48 hours. Course now Donna has to isolate as well as she was here for an hour on Wednesday. I'm staying in our/my bedroom (Tom has been in Jen's old room for the past 3 nights) but it feels like it's me that's the poorly one as I'm under the duvet with the laptop on my knee! He's having to find alternative ways to get the dogs walked.....he's out around 5am every day and doesn't see a soul so that's ok, but the afternoon walk is the issue. A kind neighbour who has two greyhounds is going to do that today and tomorrow and then hopefully on Monday, they'll go and stay at Kelly's farm where Tom used to help out. Hopefully she'll have some room then. Once they're sorted, I will swap rooms with him and spend time downstairs. We have a little tv in here which has limited channels but I could watch stuff on my phone or laptop if I want to in J's old room. I'm already sick of wiping the kettle handle/switch, door handles, taps, light switches......aaaargh!! We can't even have our weekly Chinese takeout as they don't deliver  :(

Jo hope the jabs go ok x

Have I missed something to do with Mrs E? Hope all ok x

Hope everyone has a good Saturday xxx

Good afternoon everybody.

For Gal2 and everytbody else.
Had a phone call with our surgery yesterday afternoon. The urgent requests for more scans have been sent. So we should have phone calls on Monday
giving time and dates for the examinations. Hopefully it will be next week.
As I am going to have my annual eye test as I am diabetic on Monday, a friend who used to work with mrs.e is coming to stay while I am away. If anybody asks, she is a carer.
She has had the vaxine and like a lot of people is only going shopping.
The stairlift which was installed on Thursday has been a good investment. Mrs.e can now get up and down stairs very easily.
