Good morning Friday.

Postby Ally » 05 Feb 2021, 06:03

Good morning.

Sunshiney and forecast 19 degrees.

I'm off for a walk shortly.

Home to very happily pootle till my hour zoom class with Reme at 5.30. I've taught her since I started at the academy seven years ago and she was nine years old. She's now a lovely 16 year old and always a pleasure to teach.

I normally teach the hour before that (coincidentally Reme's cousin) but during the zoom class with him last week he'd mentioned not feeling too good....turns out he now has covid so he's resting up. He's 14. :?

Chinese delivery tonight and we're starting the second series of Breaking Bad. Really looking forward to it. :cute: :cute:

Have a great day.

Vibes for Mrs E Cruiser. xx

Morning Ally :)

How lovely to be seeing your young students growing up :D Have a good day xxx

I hope Mrs E is ok Cruiser xx

Gal, good luck to T today, for his Covid test ((((x))))

Early start here, although not quite as early as it should have been as B overslept, and we didn't get our usual tap on the door that we get when she's on early shift, as Mick gives her a lift into work. So it was panic stations for them, I just got up and made myself a cuppa :? ;) She got to work just in time :D I'll make brekky while Mick's walking the dogs - porridge and fruit for Mick, bran flakes and banana for me 8-) I've got ironing to do as it didn't get done the other day, then I will walk up to D's. The hoovering and steaming will get done when I get home.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning VVers.

Vibes for Tom, E, Mrs C and anyone else in need.

Very foggy here in Leeds - 50m or so, but fairly mild at 5 °C!

I wouldn't be going out in, anyway, but cannot due to a delivery some time between now and early afternoon needing signing for. So, it looks like another exciting day of reading, TV and pottering about.

Stay safe and warm everyone.

Morning everyone

Wet. Again  All day

Will be doing the same as you WM, staying and reading, watching the rubbish that is on tv and I will get some housework done. Not the floors, as Molly won't go out and no point mopping

Good luck to T Gal x and hope Mrs E is feeling a bit better Cruiser x

Looking out at the fields, the green is a really vivid green, not something you normally see over here.

Will bee making chicken and clams later. A happy Molly, as she gets the bits of trimming off the chicken

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, another damp dreary day here  No particular plan, probably a walk and we’ll order in our dinner from the pub next door, our weekly treat. Knitting and reading later.

Morning all, it’s brightened up a bit after a grey start.

I’ve just done the ironing seeing as Tom had moved into his other classroom (AKA the downstairs living room). I think I’ve probably just started a war. He dumped a load of clothes and shoes in the office last Sunday, for the charity shop and Heaven knows when they’ll be open and taking donations again, and there they’ve stayed. I’m sick of seeing them so I’ve put them back in his room. No idea why he didn’t just bag them up and put them in the garage in the first place, seeing as he was making a mess in there anyway by pulling boxes off the shelves and not putting them back. Probably hoping one of us would do it. It hasn’t been an easy week, lots of tongue biting going on as he’s virtually taken over every room and leaves a mess wherever he goes :?

Vibes for everyone who needs them xx

Have a good day all x

Fingers crossed Saundra! That sounds awful doesn’t it but he’s definitely outgrown living at home. They’ve got a fair bit saved for a deposit but with Covid affecting Shannon’s jobs last year and her just getting another I’m not sure that they could get mortgage yet, I’m not 100% certain and it’s a long time since we were applying for a mortgage but I seem to remember that you need to have been in your current job for a certain amount of time when you apply.
