Pootle till 4 then zooming till 9. Only next week to go for covering Ana's classes. :cute:

Hubby is making a chicken tray bake for dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Absolutely chucking it down here  and has been for most of the night. Mild ish though. A very wet cat has just come in

Off to Aljustrel to get unwired, then we'll stop at Pingo for me to do the shopping.

As the rain is here for the day, we'll do not a lot, read and play cards. Probably the tv won't work, because of the wind and rain  Will be able to get Portuguese tv, but the daytime stuff is very poor.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

And how could I forget the dentist? Going there this afternoon, to hopefully, finally, sort out the root canal that went wrong

Morning ladies, and everyone else when you wake up.

Dull, damp and foggy here and looks set to stay that way for the morning.

Nothing at all planned so will play it by ear. Daytime TV is dire here as well, Jan, so maybe a bit of reading.

Stay, safe, warm and sober - if you can. ;)

Hi all! I’ll post in more detail later but just wanted to pop in to tell you I have Tom off self isolating as his NHS app pinged to say he’d been in contact with someone who has tested positive  he feels just fine but Donna called last night with one of her lateral flow tests for him (which was negative) and he’s JUST three weeks after having his jab so hopefully will be fine. A guy at work it was, the test was done on Monday but he didn’t get the ping till yesterday! He’s been among some service users since then, and his bosses didn’t contact him. :?

Currently tapping on my phone so once I’m on the laptop I’ll pop back in.

Hugs to all - more rain here, we’ll be submerged soon!!

Morning all, another dull dreary day here. It’s Thursday so Michael and Kellie will arrive later, Kellie’s online schooling is 9.30-10.30 and Michael’s is 12.30-1.30 so I said to Miss Osc he should do his here and she can get a good long run at a day’s work in her office. Hopefully the forecast rain will hold off so we can get them out for a walk in the afternoon. Right, better tidy up.

Gal, I’m sure Tom will be fine, but not good that his boss didn’t tell him :x

Morning all, it’s sunny here but rain’s due this afternoon.

The beds have been changed and the washing’s on the line, not sure how long it’ll stay out for though
Got our new microwave being delivered this afternoon.

Gal, I hope Tom stays clear. I heard last night that my cousin has it. I can’t say I’m surprised though. You may remember me posting about him and his wife having a house party last Summer and photos of at least 30 people crammed into their outside bar :? He works away a lot and they travel in vans together and there’s often photos on Facebook of a group of them drinking in a hotel room after work. Anyway, he got symptoms on Monday and drove back here from Kent (and I very much doubt he didn’t stop on the way, it’s a very long journey ).
Might have a rant about Covidiots later when I get time.

Have a good day all :)

I'm sure he'll be fine Gal. But such a worry xx

Horrible journey over, it was torrential rain and the roads were awash. And there were still some idiots driving without lights :cute: :cute:

It's actually stopped for now and we've let out over 2 inches of water from the pool. Looking around the fields, we have new streams
