Air Ambulance charity bags

I have one of these I am in the process of filling, but I have put in a lovely pair of hardly worn boots, which I am happy to give to charity. But the Air Ambulance don't have shops do they, so do they just weigh the bags, convert it into cash and then send them as rags/scrap, in which case I would rather take my boots to my friend for her National Association for the Blind shop she manages and give tatty stuff to the Air Ambulance

I wonder that with a lot of charity bags that we get through the door, they can't all have shops and I certainly don't know of any Air Ambulance ones around here.
I'm more inclined now to just take stuff to one of the shops in town because a lot of the time it's clothes that the boys have outgrown but are still in really good condition and it's a shame if they're just going to be sent as rags.

I have looked on there but it still didn't make sense. They have a full bag now so I have done my bit and my boots are going to the Blind shop

I tend to do similar to Jo - Harry grows out of stuff long before it gets tatty, and this year especially some things have only been worn once or twice before becoming too small.......I take his stuff to either the Cancer Research shop or MIND, and our old or tatty stuff goes into recycling

I've never seen an Air Ambulance shop either, so it was news to me too

snap shell iv just put a load of shoes some iv only worn once into a charity bag
they will go to a shop delivered by me
a while ago i put stuff out for age uk
saw the van go up the main street by me so rushed to the door to wave on his way back
and the bag had gone ???????????????

The North West Air Ambulance has two charity shops. I think one is in Blackburn. Heard a short talk in January about the service. Very interesting and it is run on voluntary donations. Will try to dig out details. Our retired members section gave a donation of £120 in January 2013. We support a local charity every year.
Any plastic bags we get through the letterbox are recycled. Take unwanted goods to local hospice shop

A marvellous organisation that depends purely on charity. We could not be without them where we live, they flew in took a heart attack victim to hospital last week.
I put on a review The raised £2000.00 in two days (week end). For air ambulance, and St michaels hospice. It was a super show even if I say so myself.. Can can dancers, singers, The Queens all in drag they couldn't wait to get into the evening dresses...It was a great show even if I say so myself and air ambulance was delighted...the hall was packed full, vicar laughing that the males in show sat on his lap crooning in his ear. In all a great might in memory of my darling husband?
