Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 08 Apr 2013, 06:31

Good morning :D

Blue sky and sunniness here. 8-) 8-)

Going for a run after my cuppa. :D

Picking mum and dad up and we're going to a great 'nerdy Norma' spot by the airport where dad and I will gawp at the planes landing and taking off.

Then back to mum and dad's for a walk on the coast and lunch somewhere. :D :D

Enjoy the day. :) :)

Morning all. Its not a bad start to the day here - cold but lovely clear skies.

It's very quiet here - the girls are still away with my sister and her partner (they don't go back to school until next Monday as they only finished the day before Good Friday). They get back tomorrow. I haven't even spoken to them since they left on Saturday morning, which is really odd. My sister has rung twice - once to say they got there okay (the girls were at the shop with their Uncle Roy) and then again yesterday to say that they were at Robin Hoods Bay (the girls were paddling in the sea). They have no mobile or internet access at the hotel they are staying at (its in a dip) so I can't just ring them in an evening.

We have had a very productive weekend, although yesterday was rather hampered by my massive hangover. We went out with friends for a meal on Saturday night and I had far too much red wine. I rarely drink it now when we are out and if I do only have a couple of glasses but I had far too much on Saturday night and paid for it all day yesterday.

We still got lots done over the weekend though - visit to the allotment to do lots of digging, marmalade made, redcurrant jelly made, front and back gardens tidied up.

I'm off to work in a minute until 12 then coming home to do some dreaded h*work.

Morning all :D Feeling much better today - like you Debih I overdid the wine and am just not used to it any more. I was in bed last night by 8pm     I'm sure your girls are having a fabulous time :) Harry is off until next Monday as well, and is here until Sunday :)

Ally that sounds like a lovely time - enjoy :D

Ton have a good day :) xx

Saundra we have dull dark weather here today as well - and yesterday was so lovely as well

H wants to go into town and spend his pocket money - he wanted to do it Saturday but as we had to get Becks off on her jollies we didn't have time. So today it is, come rain or shine  Better get on with a few chores first, the beds need stripping and I'll hoover and do the bathrooms - the usual Monday stuff

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning chums :) A bit dull here today. Still getting over my cold (I think I have man flu actually  ). Mum's last day here, so back to Nottingham on the coach tomorrow.
Mr L should be safely in San Jose now, so just waiting to hear from him.
Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, the sun is trying to break through here and it's not as cold as it has been. I'm just back from the gym and had a lovely bouncy welcome home from Billy, he'd obviously had no luck with getting the boys out of their beds
Not sure what to do today apart from some dog walking.

Have a good day everyone, hope your Mom has a good journey home Loz xx

Morning all :D

Have a lovely day with mum and dad Ally :D

Nice and dry here and it actually feels a bit warmer, will find out shortly when Mr.J gets back with the papers. Nothing exciting happening here, think we'll be popping out later for a bit of shopping. Oh what an exciting life we lead

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Had an early busy start so am sitting with a nice coffee now. Very dull here, and still really cold, no chance of getting out of long socks just yet.
Debih presumably you could ring the hotel in the evening and get put through to their room?
Kaz it's good you have Harry there this week to keep you company, B's absence will be a bit less obvious :)
Loz it will seem very quiet for you after tomorrow, hope your mum's ok and that your manflu goes soon.

Cricket-watching for me this afternoon, the IPl has started :)
Hope everyone's ok

Afternoon all, it's cold and windy here today, that east wind just can't bear to leave us, although it doesn't seem to be penetrating the house as much. Michael is here unexpectedly today as his childminder's hubby is in hospital, so Miss Osc asked yesterday if we could help out..........yeah, as if we would refuse  He's currently ensconced in front of the tv watching ladies' golf (he is golf obsessed!) and asking me for details of the different women, as if I know  , I would have a chance of knowing if it were men playing. He's looking forward to watching the US Masters with his daddy this weekend.

I have lots to do today, it's a busy week ahead with various things going on, and now two funerals added into the mix, and we are off to Blackpool with our ballroomdancematters group on Friday so I'm doing a few bits and pieces in connection with that also. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :)
