oh crumbs Kaz, what a worry... fingers crossed for Becks and you all. This new strain really is something else
Jan, if you can be safe whilst at the bar then go and enjoy - if for no other reason that it brings a sense of normality and dare I say hopefully helps out the folk there a bit. Not that they make much profit on a beer or two but still - every little helps and even if not financially then mentally.
Osc, that angel is absolutely stunning! what a beautiful and thoughtful gift - I love it!

Well my car is at it's MOT so now waiting for a call to (hopefully) say it's passed... no reason why it shouldn't really. Then it's another 25 minute walk back there to collect it which will be my exercise for the day.

Then back home to make paneer curry. Was meant to make it yesterday but ended up having a late lunch and then wasn't hungry.

But talking food - is anyone else struggling with getting delivery or even click & collect slots for food? I usually shop at Sainsbury's for myself and my neighbour (both online and in store) as it's the closest but slots are now as rare as hens teeth. I have a delivery pass so can look anything up to two weeks in advance, but she doesn't so for her I can only get one week in advance. But either way - for both of us there's just nothing available.

Jenniren,
You should drive your car a few miles each week. This is to ensure the walls of the tyres are flexed. If the tyres stay in the same position for long periods
the bottom section nearest the ground starts to deteriate and could causea blow out.
This would not normally aply if the car is being used daily as most cars were before lockdown.

Sorry missed this, hope B's test is negative Kaz, what a worry for you all xx

Yes my neighbour said the same Cruiser, didn't give the car a thought over Christmas, but will make sure I have a short drive at least once a week from now on.

Well, we all had four beers   Apart from Lucy, who can't drink, but she helped with a non-alcoholic one ;) The sun was glorious, but as soon as it starts going down, the temperature really drops.

Just going to look and see what's been decided re lockdown. Chris has very kindly said that I can send all paperwork from the hospital and it will be printed off :D Grumpy can be stopped and fined if it is just thought that he is driving, just because

Thanks everyone. Mick and B left just a minute ago, both well masked up!

Ria, I hope your car passes ok, both our cars are due at the end of Jan xxx

Jen, Mick started giving B's little Yarris a run around, just to keep it ticking over when lessons stopped for the first lockdown. Now he hardly ever drives his Zafira, he reckons the Yarris is nippier and prefers it    xx

Lovely to still be able to go out for a beer Jan, and it sounds very safe too 8-) :) xx

I sprayed all the chairs and table before we sat down, then we also had sanitizer from the bar. Every time one of us went in, we sanitized hands, then on the way back, hands and change. Cleaned bottles to same way. Grumpy and Lucy, the vulnerable one's, stayed outside.

Chatting to Odette, it's rife around here, all the villages have it, idiots from the same families who all think they're okay, because its family

Good luck to B xx
