Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warmer this morning, but grey and wet. Windy too

Rather late getting up, slept like a log until 6.00, gave Molly some food, back to bed and woke at 9.00  Coffee in bed too, so a rather late start to the day.

I'll be making a pork and butternut squash stew later and I was planning on doing the ironing, but that can wait.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Dry but very dull, think it's a tad nippy too.

We're up early as E's got an appointment with orthotics at Canterbury Hospital this afternoon. I've only been there once before so will be depending on sat nav, want to allow plenty of time as I'll have to organise a wheel chair when we get there. He's been told to take a pair of shoes in case they're needed for adaption. Apparently not just any old pair, no slip ons, and they must have suitable sole. As he hasn't been able to bend to do up laces for a very long time we've had to buy some. They recommend classic Reeboks, I managed to get a pair from Amazon, so hope they're suitable. Free return was included so if they're no good I'll just have to send them back.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it started off a wet miserable day, but the sun has appeared now for however long it stays. Edward has headed off to play golf, although I suspect they will get wet. I have a list of things to do and will start with going to the post office to post cards and take out some money. The postman rang the doorbell at 8.15am, luckily I was just about awake. There has been a noticeable slowdown in delivery of online purchases as it is now very busy, so I won’t do any more - at least the shops are open again. There are bathrooms to be cleaned and maybe some ironing to be done. Right, better get started....

Good morning all, it keeps trying to brighten up every now and again before becoming misty again.

Bill had a long torchlit walk first thing and I’ve done a couple of loads of washing since coming home. John’s had to go into the office today, Tom’s in work - he’s having to teach French and RE today as he doesn’t have many history classes on Mondays so he’s covering for staff who are off. Joe’s had his back to work meeting with the company nurse as his isolation finishes tomorrow. He’ll be back in college on Wednesday (which seems silly as that was where he had contact and they were taught remotely last Wednesday and it worked well so surely it makes more sense to continue that for the time being) and back into work on Thursday. He’s been able to work from home though.
College sent an email the other day saying that they’ve got lateral flow tests available for any students who want one this week and next.

Al, enjoy your day!

Jan, glad you mentioned dinner - you’ve reminded me to get some mince out of the freezer

Hope all goes well today Jen x

Have a good day all :D

Osc, I’ve still got to write my cards. I went into Stafford yesterday and got the gift wrap I needed from M&S and then headed to the card shops because my Mom had asked me to get a daughter and son in law card for her, for Julie and Rog. I gave up! Two card shops and both had queues outside, and it was raining. I thought it’d be quieter being a wet Sunday too.
