A sad time.

For those non-humans who share our home

A sad time.

Postby Workingman » 30 Nov 2020, 18:49

My ex had two dogs - Kaiser the adorable and soft white Alsatian and Bess the totally bonkers Border Collie.

Kaiser had problems with his rear end for quite some time and passed away peacefully a week last Monday. On Saturday Bess was in pain from arthritis and had to be cared for by the vet unfortunately she had an adverse reaction to the drugs and suffered a heat attack yesterday morning.

Christine, Michael and Becky are bereft... the children had known both dogs since their late teens and to lose both in such a short space of time has floored them all.

It is hard to know what to say or do in such circumstances except be there for all of them.

That is so sad WM. To lose both so close together must be horrendous.

Run free Kaiser and Bess, free from pain now

Kaz I know you just want time to stop dont you?

Just saw this now - pets are so much part of our families, it’s heartbreaking when they die :o

Yes, the very best to Ronnie.

Kaiser was expected so plans had been made, but Bess was a shock.

Timo, the new Alsatian, is coming home next Tuesday, not sure about a new friend for him.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I'll pass them on.

Ah Ally, so sorry to hear Ronnie Dog is poorly! Sending big hugs (((((((x)))))))

Shell it only seems five minutes since she was a tiny pup - peeing on the carpet and chewing my new boots, bless her! ;)
