Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 21 Nov 2020, 06:17

Good morning.

Another lovely warm day. 8-)

I'm off for a bike ride early before it gets too hot for physical exertions.

On return, after a shower, I'm planning on having a perfectly relaxing day.

Don's making a chicken jalfrezi for dinner. Yum. :D

A zoom call with the boys will be lovely too.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A gorgeous morning again, the sun is so low, I've had to keep the shutters shut

Ironing for me this morning and then not a lot. We might pop down the bar for a pre curry beer or three.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,
The post man came at 8.30 a.m with soe [post including two more birthday cards. Have been told they are so short staffed they are delivering when possible.

Morning all, it’s a fairly dreary day here although it has stopped raining for the time being. No plan for the day, except I am meeting Miss Osc and Kellie outside the church later this morning to honour a local lady who has died - she was involved in the local playschool for very many years, teaching Miss Osc and Michael and Kellie. She instilled good manners in them, was firm but fair and the children adored her. I might do some ironing this afternoon, or I might not .......

Morning all :D

Mostly overcast and dull, but every now and then the sun tries to peep out.

A nice quiet day beckons, just one parcel due, but I've told them to pop it in the enclosed front porch so shouldn't have to make a dash for the front door. My ankle has been extra sore the last few days, plan to put my feet up and rest it as much as possible.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hello everyone :)

We're at D's at the moment, "bubbling" ;) :D We've just had a slice of her delicious freshly made lemon and blueberry traybake - scrumptious :D This afternoon I need to change the bird food in the feeder, I'd like the lawn cut but it's far too soggy! :cute:

We had our Zoom SW meeting first thing, B lost 4lbs this week, suffice to say that I didn't    Michelle is talking about keeping the meetings to Zoom until after Christmas, no matter what happens on the 2nd. I think I would be happier with that, rather than going back to normal ones. At least until the R is right down.

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone :) xxx

Good afternoon all, it’s a mild and quite sunny day.

I started the day with an early run, came back and had a shower and dried my hair before taking Bill to a Hednesford Hills for a walk. He’s now off on another walk on the Chase with Tom. Joe’s been for a run too and John’s off for a bike ride shortly. I’ve had a parcel from Amazon and I’m now waiting for one from Hermes, as is Joe. I have to beat him to the door because mine is his new Man Utd shirt, a surprise for Christmas, and I’m worried that the packaging will have some kind of clue on it.

We’re going to order pizza for tea.

Kaz, I think that’s the right thing to do. John was talking to someone in his dept yesterday and he was saying that he’s looking forward to being back in the office on Dec 3rd but John’s not planning on getting them back in until after Christmas at least. They can work just as well at home so it’s just not worth the risk.

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon all. Grey here today but not too cold.
I'm currently watching Newcastle v Chelsea which is not very gripping. In a bit I'll watch the qualifying for the motorbikes.
Chips and egg for tea and a glass of wine later.
That's about it!

Goof afternoon. I think "dank" best described the weather here. Not a day to make you want to venture outside.

Master O is currently back in Sussex where he is attempting to wrap up various affairs. So this morning we have rearranged the front bedroom / en-suite he has use of when he is back here so it's more of a bedsit for him (basically swapping a dressing table for a computer table from Mrs O's room). Knocking off now, with the weekly soup-making session later on. We did all the veg yesterday and I've done the onions and garlic this morning so it's just an assembly job now. It beats Newcastle vs Chelsea anyway ... :D
