What amazes me Shaz is the fact that he had a history of violence and this fact was ignored even following his bragging and criminal record.......Where were Social Services? no one can tell me that they were not aware of his lifestyle and the risk to his children, well looked after or not..

I agree with you Shaz - and find it deeply unpleasant that Osborne is today trying to make political capital out of all of this  :( :(

Being on benefits did not make him do it any more than if he had been in work would have made him do it. That has to be made clear, and some of the political points scoring being made by some MPs is frankly disgusting and disturbing.

But the other side of the coin is that benefits enabled him to live a particular lifestyle, much of which was criminal, and nobody but nobody lifted a finger to try to curtail it or even criticise it. He appeared to think that he was untouchable, and the lack of any action by the authorities probably went a long way to confirm his twisted logic.

As millions in benefits are paid to Eastern Europeans and other foreigners set up by crooks and their gangs, who have benefitted so much that their Mercedes stand outside their millionaire properties they have built from BENEFITS.. Bulgarians and other foreigner's oft in the news for their clever ploys..
