Oh am I first? Morning everyone, another bright but freezing cold day here. If the wind would drop it might warm up a bit!

Not sure of my plans today - I could get the weekend food shop out of the way instead of tomorrow. Need to dig a big suitcase out for Becks to start her packing - only two more sleeps I know she'll have a fantastic time but I must admit to worrying a bit - it's such a long way away.....................I hope that fighting stays on the other side of the island

Back to dark grey here, just the same freezing cold and horrid wind. It's going up to all of 9 degrees at the weekend, but best of all the wind is supposed to finally drop.
Only 2 more sleeps Kaz, gosh I bet she's excited You're bound to worry a bit, everyone would. She'll be back before you know it
Not sure what I'm doing today, will let you know if anything happens

Yes she is excited, and starts her anti-malarials today, so it's all getting very real Thanks Di - I try not to be a fussing mum, but it's her first trip away without a parent and she's still only 17 I know she'll be fine but will sleep easier when she gets home

Morning all, cold here...again Nothing special planned, although it is Mr l's birthday. We were going out tolunch but he is going away to the States on Sunday, so needs to go into wrk today. We will go out tomorrow instead.
I need to get some food in but after last weeks Tesco fiasco I am a bit nervous

After last nights rain we now have sunshine

So we're going into the village for the monthly market - now been for about a year but don't expect much has changed

Kaz, of course you'll worry - you're a mum, we all worry. You'll be able to text and maybe skype? You'll be doing the worrying and she'll be having a fantastic time.

Aw thanks Loz it's true, I still worry bout the 34 yr old

Ton she's taking her Galaxy tablet so I'm hoping to get the odd quick email or FB message, and one of the organisers is sending a text to all the parents when they get there
