Thanks for that Loz. I saw it advertised and thought it looked good but didn't notice when it was on.

I will make sure I watch or record it. It might encourage me to have a go at sewing - I'm a knitting person.

Yes thanks Loz, I meant to post :)
I'm looking forward to it, there's a good write-up in the Times. Am hoping to learn things from it :)

Mum and I watched it last night and enjoyed it. I think they actually pushed the people quite hard. I can follow a pattern and do zips and darts etc, but I wouldn't be much good at fitting it to a real person and making alterations
It would be nice if they could show how to do certain things, such as putting in a zip, but maybe that would not be entertaining enough. Maybe if the program is popular they could do a follow up, teaching certain techniques.

I've just watched it, and enjoyed it too.
Yes I was hoping for a bit more instruction, but maybe like the bake-off it will lead to 'masterclasses' or something.

It was quite good in that they did point out how the bits that weren't quite right could be improved. Bit worrying though that this was part one so it's presumably only going to get harder!

I recorded it and will watch it later.

But someone please tell me - it had the awful Claudia Winkelman presenting it. Was she as terrible as she usually is? If so I'm not sure I can watch it - when she is on tv I tend to spend more time thinking about things to slap her with rather than concentrating on the programme.

I quite like her, so she wasn't a problem for me. I don't think she dominated the program though debih.

Claudia was very calm and very low key in this programme. We quite enjoyed it - hubby too!

Instead of worrying about soggy bottoms now, we will worry about puckering.
