Morning all--a lovely sunny day but very very cold
Today we have to go to the hospital to
have OH`s toe checked out and hopefully all the
dressings etc taken off and fingers crossed that he
can start wearing his shoes again
A fortnight ago he had the bone broken in his toe, a piece
removed and the toe straightened as he has been in constant
pain for ages walking on the tip of his toe and corns constantly
forming with the pressure.
Best wishes to all who are suffering one way or other

Good afternoon all, quite bright here but with a bitterly cold wind. I went to the gym, walked over into town and then home and persuaded Tom to do the morning dog walk - I was frozen!!

No reply at the college Jo, I'm going to try again tomorrow. On the off chance that I can catch a member of the admin staff...........still the holidays isn't it?

Yayyyy!!! I got through and she'd just been sending out emails with the new itinerary!! They're going to see the proboscis monkeys, see a volcano, go on a balloon trip...................Everything is sunny again chez Kaz

I've updated my other thread I was sure she said balloon trip on the phone but no mention in the itinerary email - still it looks marvellous anyway

Thanks for asking---he had the stitches out and it is a bit swollen still
but looks ok. He can try putting a shoe on tomorrow and can have a shower
in a couple of days time.
It should be fully healed in 4 to 6 weeks and he can walk short distances on
it from tomorrow.
