We've had a very busy weekend with all the family here to visit. Much excitement and lots of noisy children.........bliss Mind you we did collapse when they'd all gone home

Happy Easter Monday everyone

I'm off to my brother's house soon for a family visit, back about 4 or 5 I think. Poor Jen has to miss out as she is working 10 to 4....I have promised to bring back a doggy bag Grey atm but there are breaks in the cloud, as we had yesterday and it got out lovely after lunch - hopefully today will be the same

Afternoon all, it's got really cold again, wish those easterly winds would push off, we've had enough now We had a lovely time in Miss Osc's yesterday, son-in-law cooked a gorgeous meal and I even drank a glass of champagne for Miss Osc's birthday (a client gave her a bottle of Veuve Cliquot ). The chocolate cake I had made for her birthday went down very well. Michael was in great form enjoying the visitors - I wonder was he the only child in Ireland not to have any chocolate? Any time he was offered some he very politely said "no thank you"!

Today we've been working on a playlist and music for a social dance we are organising for next Saturday afternoon - it's all sequence dancing and is to help prepare the group of dancers who are coming with us to Blackpool on the 12th for a fun weekend dancing in the Tower Ballroom. This is our third year doing this, and we have 19 travelling from Ireland and another 4 English people joining us. Mr. Osc is watching footie now and I suppose I had better do something about the growing pile of ironing Enjoy your day everyone

Good afternoon all, it's grey, windy and cold here.
This morning I took Joe clothes shopping which is always an ordeal, he came home and said I'm bossy and pushy I left him in town to meet a couple of his friends in Game but he was back an hour later.
John's just gone out for an hour on his road bike, it's far too icy to ride his mountain bike on the Chase, he tried yesterday and was home half an hour later. Later we're going to take Billy to play in the snow, we went over the Chase with him yesterday and were still knee deep in places. I think it calls for lots of layers and flask cups of coffee.

Afternoon all. We went up to Teddington to pick my mum up from my brother's house. She is here now and already we have had some memory problems and upset and confusion I've hugged her and told her not to worry, but we need to get her to the GP so that she can be helped.
