Millie and I were walking up the lane after walking L down to a friends house ready for Guides. This part of the lane is very hard to describe - it is sort of elevated, windy and very narrow. Luckily we were at the bottom of it so we had somewhere to go - the car came belting down, as usual. To be honest I'm not sure who was driving - him or her - as it was dark and they both drive like idiots.

I think they think that they aren't really driving all that fast but when you are walking along a narrow lane even something moving at 20mph feels like it is coming towards you really quickly.

Blue sky and sunshine here, if you didn't go outside you could fool yourself - but the wind is vicious and it's freezing!
We've been to the marshes with Minnie She's been in the sea Not for a swim, too soon for that, but several goes in after a stick
The short circuit that we did today is a mile, she did more because of running (yes running!) back and forth, so her training is coming on a treat now Ooh it's lovely to have her smelling of the sea and seaweed again
The forecast is more of the same so we're planning on going again tomorrow

Our mealtimes have been thrown as usual by the time change, we had a hot cross bun each but not till we came back from our walk, which was after 12, and certainly don't want any lunch just yet. Never mind, we'll have dinner late as well Nice to have the clocks change on a Bank holiday weekend

Afternoon all and Happy Easter It's bright and breezy here, don't know what it's like outside as I haven't been out there yet, but I reckon it's still cold. Today is Miss Osc's 36th birthday, which can't be right......I can't be that old It was a wet and windy day that day, I still remember it!

We are going to their house for dinner later on in the afternoon. I've made her a choccie cake decorated with mini eggs, baked it yesterday and iced it today. Got her presents wrapped too and bought a present for Michael so he won't feel left out So now I'm going to have a bit of lunch, then shower and wash my hair before we head off for the almost 5 minute drive to their house - thought about walking but we have stuff to carry including the cake so I think driving is safer. Debih, don't know how you can even cross the threshold of that plonker's house except to collect the girls! Looks like he didn't learn a lesson, it could very easily be a child or adult next time

Believe me it will be very hard!

But we are a small village and it's hard to completely block someone out - especially when one of my really good friends is his sister!!!!.

I will be arriving as late as possible though and not staying very long. I am hoping that there will enough people there for me not to have to actually speak to him.

I am also off on a night out in a couple of weeks - a comedy club thing. There are 10 of us going. Mick isn't - he didn't fancy it. But prat face is. We will all be sat on one table. I refuse to not do things that I want to do just because he is there.

Di it must be absolutely wonderful to see Minnie frolicking about again - and lovely for you too to get out and about with her. I'm sure you missed the walks

Oh we sure did miss them Kaz, and this morning was so beautiful.
Although with 2 pairs of socks, vest, polo neck, t-shirt, scarf, thick jacket, hat with hood plus gloves, it didn't half take a long time to get dressed for it Once we turned onto the sea wall the wind was enough to freeze your face off

There's a campsite right down there, we weren't sure it would be open but believe it or not as well as a fair few camper vans there are actually people in tents - they really must be bonkers
Just hoping they all pay proper attention to the warnings about the dangers of carbon monoxide.

A boyfriend and I went to Santa Pod one Easter, with a bunch of friends. We were all meant to be going for 3 nights, but it was really cold that year too (probably not this cold!) and with his mum away we chickened out and stayed the first two nights at their house. The night in the tent we wore more clothes than we did during the day

It is much milder here today I said to Mick how nice it was not to have to brace yourself to open the back door to go to the bin The flowers in my pots have opened a lot more today too, it doesn't take much to get them going
