Cross about my jeans

Postby miasmum » 29 Mar 2013, 19:25

I wanted a new pair of skinny jeans to wear with my boots. I have a lovely Per Una pair, and basically wanted the same. The assistant in M&S was really helpful, they have ipads now, but there weren't any. She found me a pair of Limited Edition jeggings, but very like jeans with a proper fly and everything. I tried them on in a 10 and they seemed a bit snug. I said to her, do you think I need a 12? She said no definitely not, they would be too big on the bottom. Jeggings always feel tighter than jeans, and they will give. So I bought them. Took them on holiday and after a day thought, these are too uncomfortable to wear. I bought them home, washed them, tried to stretch the waist band but it is having none of it.

I laid them on top of my other new jeans, a Per Una pair of straight legs and there is at least a 1.5 inch difference on waist band and hips.

No way are they are 10. Do you think I would have any come back taking them back? I have the receipt

When I said I hope they don't shrink she said 'well if they do you can bring them back' so I could always try that one I suppose :?

Yes if she said that then you can try, and I think have a very good chance.

What a nuisance though :?

To be fair I think you can tell they haven't shrunk, the seams are still straight, whereas shrinkage tends to wrinkle the seams.

They are either labelled or cut wrong. I will take my straight jeans to show them the difference I think

I would MM, you want more wear out of them than that!
Annoying that the assistant talked you into it, but then you can tell them that too :)
