I love parties but not if I am the centre of attention. That's why we were away in Bruge for my 40th.

I am already planning to be away somewhere for my 50th. And 60th.

Yes I can understand the hesitation too....but sometimes you just have to do it. Hopefully T has got in first with his holiday request, and let's face it, you absolutely deserve the biggest treat possible. We had a party for my 40th which was great, and my 50th which while great fun, was rather stressful for a few different reasons, and I swore we would not do it again. So we went away for my 60th, a small group of family and almost family and we had a wonderful time.
