Good morning Good Friday

Postby Diflower » 29 Mar 2013, 08:22

Morning all :)
Bright, lovely sunshine here - temperature minus 1 or so, but it's dry and blue sky :)

Bb picking youngest up at 9, his mum's working; this evening we're collecting eldest and meeting Bb's mum and dad for a meal, looking forward to that :)
Both boys staying tonight, going home tomorrow afternoon some time (it's not our weekend). Need to get a shift on - have a good day all

Good morning, it's lovely and sunny here though still bitterly cold.

I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish so that I can get the washing out on the line, the strong wind did a wonderful job of drying several pairs of jeans yesterday so hopefully it'll work on the towels today
I'm planning a walk into town later, and we'll do a few dog walks too. John had plans to cement a few slabs in the garden which have come loose and also cement the thingymajig in the ground that holds my washing line in place, it's been pushed into the ground flush with the lawn and has been fine until recently but has started leaning so needs firming up, but seeing as I had to dig through snow to find it yesterday and then pour boiling water down it to melt the ice inside it before I could fit the washing line into it then any cementing isn't going to happen this weekend

Have a good day everyone!

Morning all. I'm still in bed. I really must get up.

No major plans for the day. I must do the ironing that I have put off for ages. And I'm going to do some batch cooking for the freezer.

I have just noticed that the kindle fire predicts what words you might want next. If I do a sentence from it I wonder where it will lead me to squeeze the vet appointments and the teenagers who fancy dress up to the destination of a window and disappeared from Sainsbury's first time on the puddle of a good quality consumer tested products that I don't think he would get up to the destination of a window.

Oh it just goes round in circles in the end. That's my fun for the day.

Morning everyone :) Di snap! Yet again we have identical weather - we must be on the same isobar or ley line or something :P  Have a fantastic day an meal out with the boys and Bb's parents 8-)

Ally she's still asleep! :) I hope she'll be ok this weekend, there isn't much chance of any news until at least Tuesday, I would have thought :? Thanks for asking xxx

Jo it's still a bit cold here for gardening as well, but if the rain keeps off for a day or too we might finally get our scruffy lawns cut!! They've looked awful all winter as the weather was so very wet last autumn the grass never got its final cut

LOL Debih

Mick is picking H up today!!! Am sooo looking forward to having him for the weekend, and then next weekend he's coming again and staying for the final week of the school holidays :D :D :D

Have a good Good Friday everyone xxxxx

Lots of fabulous H time to look forward to then Kaz! :D

Our lawn is the same Kaz (from what I remember of it - it seems to have been white for such a long time). We were in Aldi last night and they had some lovely pansies and the like which I want for the pots but there's no point buying them at the moment - the pots are still covered in snow.

Debbie  John had a lot of trouble with predictive text but he's now using that Swype thing that it does and gets on much better with it now.

I think The Croods is supposed to be very good, I think that's in the cinemas now.

I never use predictive text, the autocorrect on my iPad and iPhone drive me crazy! Not sure if I can disable them though.
