Today UK cases rose by 34 up to 85. That is not good news. The other bit of bad news is that we do not know where they are. We do not need names and home addresses, but general locations would not go amiss. We certainly do not need panic, but people cannot plan if they are being kept in the dark.

I am out and about as normal, into town, visiting my mum-in-law, and shopping, but I am using hand-gel and thoroughly washing my hands - even more than normal.

They say the hand gel should be at least 65% alcohol. So with the current price of it, I reckon it might be cheaper to wash your hands in neat Whiskey

We're moving towards re-filling the jolly old Brexit boxes, to be honest.
Both Mrs O and I are of the particular age and stage that if this thing takes off, (and I'm under little doubt that it will, now), we'll probably be best advised to go into voluntary self-isolation.

I'm not sure that "delay until May / the NHS is ready" is the best policy, TBH. Slightly fatalistic, but I'm wondering if it would be a better policy to let the virus follow its natural course and burn itself out. How else is the bulk of the population going to get natural immunity otherwise?

Been to Sainsbury's today, No hand-gel or antiseptic wipes to be seen, but I have some, and also happen to have the ingredients for WM's recipe - thanks Frank

I'm not panic buying, but my big freezer is always well stocked, and I did buy extra dried pasta and some long-life milk

I shan't self-isolate if and when it kicks off, but I hope we can persuade D to do so - anything she needs I can get for her.
