What are we reading in March?

Postby Ally » 01 Mar 2020, 06:50

I started reading Adrian Mole's Diary on the plane yesterday and was in stitches laughing.

I'd forgotten how funny it was.

I love them, and I can’t look at a swan now without thinking about Gielgud

I've just finished a very old Gerald Seymour thriller. Mrs O is ploughing through a Marian Keyes book "Grown Ups".

We have loads of paperbacks on our shelves we haven't read yet, mainly picked up from charity shops and garden centres, so plenty to keep us occupied!

That's good Ossie 8-)

I'm a few chapters into City Of Girls, a Sunday Times bestseller by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's written in the form of a memoir by a very old lady, looking back on her life as a young girl in NYC in the early 1940s. Really enjoying it, so far :D

That sounds interesting Kaz!

I'm reading Sleep by CL Taylor at the moment, a thriller which was recommended to me by Amazon, and also has been on Richard and Judy's book club list. Enjoying it so much I spent over 2 hours in the conservatory yesterday reading :D

Right!

I am just about to make a start on Ian Irvine's fantasy epic "The View from the Mirror".

That's 4 volumes, and 2,554 pages in paperback.

I may be some time …… :D
