Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 26 Mar 2013, 07:46

Good morning :D :D

Looking nice out there. 8-)

Had the best, funniest day yesterday and last night. Jackie and Mart were over here for lunch then we went out..till 11 last night.

Playing badminton this morning then we're both going over to Jackie's at 4pm as it's Mart's birthday so we're going out for a couple of beers and a steak.
Staying the night there. :D :D

Enjoy the day.

Morning all. We have had more snow. Just a smattering but more snow nonetheless.

I have adoption panel this morning - they are so busy at the moment they have had to put an extra one in this month (there are usually two a month).

No real plans for this afternoon although I really ought to do some ironing - I will see what time I get home.

Parents evening for S this evening. It will be fun - as she was off Wed, Thurs and Fri last week she has only managed to make 3 appointments so we will just have to jump in whenever we see an empty chair! I am only really bothered about seeing the teachers for maths, english, history and science but will look out for others as well (although not the geography teacher. After her stupid comments last year I have no wish to see her whatsoever!). I wanted to see her German teacher too but she has recently gone on maternity leave and S has only had the replacement teacher for 3 lessons so she won't know her - if she is free we will see her but I don't see the point in waiting in a queue for her.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning :)
Same weather here Saundra, the wind is really vicious.
Ally have fun, and Debih good luck with the parents evening.

Bb's not working till later and then locally, so this morning we're off to where we used to live. He will have his hair cut and so catch up with his mate, and I will drop him off then go and catch up with a couple more :)
Not sure if we're doing anything else on the way back, but will be coming home to lovely thick soup. Lunch and dinner were both cooked yesterday so I might manage to get some of the h-word done that didn't get done yesterday.
Hope the weather's not too disruptive for anyone

Morning all
Day started off fantastically with hubby no longer working at home like he told me he was, que made scramble for baby sitter as I had an osteo appointment. Then went to have a shower upstairs, and managed to flood the downstairs bathroom.

Made the osteo. It was a new one as I really wasn't happy with my last one. This new one seems to be quite good. Hopefully she can fix my neck problems.

Morning everyone :) It's dry here and bright - I was going to suggest to Mick that we had a walk out but he's just reminded me that he has an appt at the consultant dentist's in Bristol, with the hygienist there..........Boo!!!! Better get on with some housework and food shopping then

Ally have a great time with your friends :D

Ton hope it stays nice for you too xxx

Happy Haircut Saundra :D

Debih Becks was an absolute nightmare for parents evenings, she would make appts with huge gaps in between or forget some - we just used to do what you said and jump in if we saw a teacher with a free table

Lissie sorry to hear about your eyes, my dad had cataracts done very young, in his 40s, and the ops made such a difference! Good luck xxxxxx

Hope they can fix your neck Weka, physio helped me a lot xxx

Have a lovely day catching up Di 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone xxxx

Morning all, it's still bitterly cold here with that evil cold wind. Joe's off school today as we've both (well, John too) come down with Tom's cold :( so it looks like it's a day of Top Gear on TV if the last hour is anything to go by

We need to go into school tonight though as it's Joe's Options evening. They choose six subjects to study (along with the compulsories) in Year 9 and then at the end of that year they drop three of them and continue with the other three to GCSE.

Debbie, I hope S's parents evening goes well tonight. We don't have the option now of jumping in if we see a teacher who is free, they've changed the system now and rather than all teachers being in the hall we all have to run around the school, totally lost, to find them in their departments. It's an utter mess and over runs badly whereas in the hall it always ran like clockwork. We've been to two like that now and both times have found ourselves in long queues to see the teachers and you don't know whether to get out of the queue and run to another department to see another teacher because their queue could be just as long. We didn't get to see his geography teacher last time because she'd gone by the time we go around to seeing her!

Have a good day everyone!

Morning all. Another freezing cold day, so not venturing far today. I was waiting in for a delivery and just happened to go into the hall and saw a man through the front door glass. I opened it and it was the delivery man. He said he had been knocking and ringing for ages...I hadn't heard him  :? I thought it must have been my deafness, but of course Jasper would have started barking if he had rung the bell :?
Oh well, at least I didn't miss the delivery :D
Dancing tonight and the tango music is always so warm and sunny sounding that it is nice on a cold night :D
Have a good day everyone and keep warm xxx
