Jo it's hard in this weather isn't it. I would have said the lovely thick soup for lunch meant I wouldn't want anything till dinnertime, but in Waitrose they were just reducing the cakes and two custard slices jumped into my basket  :D
Soup is the saviour though, if it wasn't for that virtually every day I really would be in trouble!

We have a tin of lovely Foxes biscuits hollering at me from the cupboard - I've pushed it to the back but can still hear it  My brother brought it the last time he stayed. Once it stays closed, I'm fine, but if it wasn't for Mr. Osc it would be open by now. I did buy some hot cross buns earlier though. I'll be ok once I have my dinner (being prepared as I type) and I'll have a yogurt afterwards, that should ease the cold weather cravings.

Chips! For tea! That sounds like a great idea! :D

Lashings of tomato ketchup and maybe a few fried eggs, possibly, probably, some buttered bread to dip in the yolks. :)

Thank you, thank you.... I was stuck. Now I'm in heaven. :P

Oooh Di, custard slices sound irresistible right now! Was it Frank who said the other day that the lady in his local shop had said cakes had been selling very well just lately? It's no surprise really.

Well there are still seven teenagers in my kitchen, I hinted to Tom that I need to take it back so that I can cook dinner. He told me to just go in and carry on  I don't think his friends would want to be hanging out with me while I'm cooking and really, I would quite like a bit of space whilst making dinner - it's a big kitchen but not with eight people and a dog in there
I've told him to take them up to his room.

Well, the cherry bakewell sold itself to me, but I got my own back - I ate it, all of it! ;) :P

The Waitrose custard slices are definitely far superior to anything Tesco has, and probably the same price too - but then I don't buy them at full price :D If they're reduced it's kind of obligatory :D
