Prince Andrew says he is stepping back from public duties for the "foreseeable future" because of his links to his rich friend and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

I had to laugh at one of the Facebook pages (News Thump possibly) which posted the headline "Prince Andrew to step back from whatever the **** it is he does"

I have to agree Frank, he's very arrogant. A friend of my ex used to work in the grounds of Windsor castle. He often saw HM toddling about, feeding and walking her dogs. Of course staff were only allowed to speak if spoken to, but she was charming. Diana was nice, Fergie was friendly, Princess Margaret and the QM rather imperious.

Andrew was obnoxious to staff - he once actually driwve through a wooden five-bar gate because they didn't open it quickly enough for him! Becky once met Prince Edward and Sophie in Windsor Great Park, when she was a child. She had no idea who they were, and asked to pat their horses. They were utterly lovely, and B still remembers it

I don't think he is a paedophile, just a very entitled man who has always had his own way, but this story isn't going to die down......

John once took part in a 24 hour mountain bike event at Gatcombe Park and it was assumed that it was just a matter of Princess Anne allowing part of her estate to be used but they actually found out that she'd been out assisting the trail builders, she also presented the prizes afterwards and was by all accounts very witty and approachable.

My brother worked for London Weekend tv in the late 80s and met Princess Anne during, I think, a telethon. He thought she was wonderful, very down to earth and willing to muck in and do whatever was needed. She has always been my favourite too, although I would love her to have a more modern hairstyle (I am so shallow )

My brother worked for London Weekend tv in the late 80s and met Princess Anne during, I think, a telethon. He thought she was wonderful, very down to earth and willing to muck in and do whatever was needed. She has always been my favourite too, although I would love her to have a more modern hairstyle (I am so shallow )

My friend Jaqui's nephew is her gamekeeper. He and his wife live on the estate. Anne interviewed him herself, got up to make him coffee, then went and washed up the cups! She showed them around the cottage herself, and had it all repainted and adapted as they had a young baby.

Zara's little girl Maya goes to the same village school as their little girl, and they are friends. They've had sleepovers, and the nephew and his wife have been to Mike and Sara's for dinner several times - and come home rather ratted

They have no airs and graces whatsoever! Princess Anne did Zara and her brother Peter a huge favour by refusing titles for them
